Last Saturday Evie had to say goodbye to her best friend. Evie and Alyssa met at Juniata Christian School in 3rd grade and they instantly became best friends. Then Alyssa changed schools in 7th grade but the girls stayed close and hung out every chance they got. But now, Alyssa's family is moving 3 hrs to be closer to family. I totally understand that family is most important but Alyssa will be missed! Evie will miss having her friend so close. But I told her we will still try to see her at least 2 times a year if not more. I will drive her there and spend the night in a hotel if it means that she gets to spend more time w her.

Daddy's birthday was September 6th but KK and I took him out for his gift this last Wed night. Took him to go see Coyote vs Acme and out to eat afterwards. Happy 68th birthday dad! I love you so much! 💙 by @andreagates86

I'm a day late but Happy Birthday to my baby boy!
🥳🎉🎈🎂🎁🎈🎉🥳
Charlie, you're a pre-teen but you still love your mama like a toddler. I love that you still give me hugs and kisses and snuggle with me! You wave hi and smile at me even when everyone is watching. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I'm still such a special person in your life and that age still doesn't determine how you show me love.
You are so incredibly special to me and I'm the proudest mother to have you as my son! I hope you never lose your infectious smile and spirit. May you always love the Lord and show kindness to others.
I love you more than words could ever say and I don't know what I'd do without you!

Yesterday we got donuts and milk for breakfast on the way to school. Charlie had soccer practice than we went out to Chinese for dinner. Later this month he'll have his bday party w friends.

So thankful for date night (last night) w my hunky hubs! We really don't get to go out on many dates so it's so special when we do. I sure do love this man!

First Day of School! 2026-2027
First year of school without Tom. It was really sad. No more school shopping, no more lunch notes, no more first day of school picts, no more sports practices or games, no more homework, no more programs, no more field trips, no more driving the kids to school, etc.
I'm excited about his future but sad that he won't always be around. I'm so proud of him in what he's accomplished so far and know that God has some amazing plans for him!
I love my kids and even though it's a bummer summer break has ended and they won't be home as much I am looking forward to and praying for a great school year for these kids!

First Day of School! 2026-2027
