time to show some of the projects i finished during the last months!

firts up is my #poppytee which surprisingly became an instant favourite 🥰 i didn’t think that i would like red so much.

i used #sandnessunday in the colourway poppy plus #sandnestynnsilkmohair in the colourway red scarlet.

new year, more yarn! ☺️

a belated xmas gift from me to myself arrived today and i am finally feeling excited about starting a new project again. before xmas i felt overwhelmed with my crafting and i didn’t knit a lot (also time is disappearing quickly lately).

but my friend @institchesknits reminded me that knitting is after all a slow hobby and it just takes time to finish a garment. so this will become some sort of cable sweater and if it takes me half a year it’s perfectly fine!

sun is not often seen this time of the year so when it finally came out for a few hours i took some pictures of my finished #ivysweater ☀️

this became quickly one of my favourite garments to wear, simple and elegant and the yarn makes it also incredibly soft! it’s almost like wearing a pyjama 😁

will i order more yarn to make another one? 🙃

yesterday we took a lovely autumn walk and i was wearing my recently finished #stockholmhat
this hat pattern became one of my favorites as i know it will fit exactly the way i want. i might have made four or five of these already 🙃

this one is made out of #sandnespeergynt together with a strand of #silkmohair i had in stash. i have one ball of peer gynt left so i might cast on a matching pair of mittens soon ☺️

a new cast on, one of many. i can’t stop planning projects, casting on new projects and buying yarn 🙃 must be fall season that totally sparks my knitting mojo 😆

this yarn was launched recently and as soon as i saw it i wanted to test it. it’s non superwash wool with tweed parts and so much fun to work with 🌈

today is the day! the #prospectpullover is live 😄

i was able to testknit this sweater for @toriknitsnyc and i can highly recommend it. ☺️ a very well written pattern, easy to follow and a lot of fun to knit. i also want to mention the generous time frame of 2,5 months that was provided for knitting this garment! (i nevertheless started last minute because that’s how i live my life 🤪).

i knitted size 3 on a 3,75mm needle (4mm for the sleeves and 3,5mm for ribbing) and used a DK weight yarn plus a strand of silk mohair. it’s a very warm and soft combination 💭

clearly i am in my beige era but i needed a basic sweater and this one will be perfect for the upcoming fall 🍂🐿️

the yarn is new to me (well not new but i never tried it!) and one of the softest i ever knit with ☺️ i hope to be done soon because i really want to wear it NOW

a day at the beach with knitting and swimming and just enjoying this beautiful place. i started my april cardigan about two weeks ago and it’s knitting up surprisingly fast. the advantage of holidays i guess 😆

i am about to finish the ribbing for the body and then it’s just the button band left - which will probably take me another two weeks…

after finishing the testknit this beautiful tee has quickly become one of my favorites. the pattern, the construction and the yarn made it such an enjoyable knit!

we are currently spending some time in bretagne and i feel very appropriate with my stripey sweater 😁
