My little buddy. ❤️🐾 by @andreajenereaux

ADOPTED!! THANK YOU! ❤️
Meet Peanut!
Peanut has quite a resilient history. His first owner died when Peanut was three years old, then he ended up in a facility for four months until he was adopted again. Now, another three years later the current family’s situation has changed (divorce) and this sweet boy is looking for his forever home again.

Peanut was born in August 2020. Peanut has always lived with other dogs, and gets along great with every dog he meets. Since he’s more people focused, he would likely be just as happy as an only dog. Peanut is a low-to-medium energy dog who is content to alternate between napping by his owner, resting in his favorite bed or playing with his toys. He loves going on walks and is great on the leash. He is fully potty trained. Peanut comes microchipped. He's about 25 pounds. He knows the commands: sit, lay down, stay, wait, and leave it.

Peanut is a happy, affectionate companion who forms an incredibly strong bond with his primary caregiver. He is a true "velcro dog" whose sole desire is to be by his person’s side. As a natural alerter, he will bark when people walk by the house, and when the delivery/mail trucks go by. He is a healthy, loving little guy just looking for his forever person to stick by.

Meet Esmee, the Rat Terrier. She was found in the street by a rescuer near Ponce in Puerto Rico and then turned into our rescue. She was no doubt abandoned when the people no longer wanted to take care of her. It happens all too often in Puerto Rico. She was heartworm positive, received treatment, & tested negative. Yay! She got a dental, was spayed, and vaccinated. She's very sweet & happy, & ready for her forever home!

$Polo was a street dog in Puerto Rico, who was nearly killed in an attack by a bigger dog. They were fighting over food. This sweet little girl in the photo was the one who saved him from the dog attack. She was able to contact our rescue group, and we took over , paying all of the veterinary bills, and placing him with our most experienced foster, & rescue co-founder, until he was all healed up. He also had heartworm, and had to undergo treatment for that once he was strong enough. She sometimes came to visit him in the hospital. You can see that he is still wearing the blue bandages that they applied over the many bite wounds, and to support the ribs that were fractured on the right side. Thanks to her, he's living the good life in the Pacific Northwest with a family that adores him. She was a hero that day, & Polo owes his life to her. #rescuedogsofpuertorico ##animalsinneed #rescuepupsofinstagram #Polo #Satos. by @andreajenereaux$
