Cam worked his first “lab” as a sports broadcasting major working the main camera for the TCU/Colorado volleyball game.

Nolan is working for TCU athletics this year and did the artwork for them winning 10 in a row for their social media!

We watched his camera work while also watching Landry play last night.

Family weekend!!! We have two frogs in the family (still pinching ourselves about that). Nolan was out of town this weekend but it was still jam packed with all our out of state friends and family. We love having all these friends’ kids in town! High school freshman! The milestone traffic jam just keeps coming. She’s already in full swing with her first volleyball game (she made JV)! It’s going to be fun experiencing high school with a daughter this time. She makes friends so effortlessly and has a heart of gold. Praying for an amazing four years. by @andreamcd1207

He’s all moved in!!! I know it’s just 25 minutes down the street but a lot will change for us. Two kids are out of the house with only one at home who is also starting a new chapter.

I speak with a lot of moms about how there are so many resources about parenting babies, toddlers and teens but letting go into adulthood…good luck. The best we have is other parents who have wisdom (which is invaluable), but gosh it’s a doozy for the parenting nervous system. 😵‍💫

You are no longer on the field, you’re the cheerleader. You let them make decisions (the good and the bad) and work your keeping your mouth shut muscle into overdrive and only use it when absolutely necessary. Still a work in progress on that one.

But today was so good. The absolute smoothest move in process yet to date. Lost count how many TCU RAs offered help and came to chat with Cam and were genuinely so kind. It feels unreal to have both of our boys at TCU this fall. Praying they have good memories of their time together here while also making their own way too.

I left him with church and camp friends and he was all smiles. No one cried, the excitement (and exhaustion) took over. Ask me in a month how I’m doing 😉 Praying Cam finds his people, his way, and absolutely thrives at TCU. Go shine that light, Cam. We love you and will be front row cheering you on! Last stop on our trip…Ireland 🇮🇪 after seeing a lot of city life we were ready for the country side. I highly recommend Kilkenny and driving the Copper Coast. Truly so stunning. Weather was incredible at 65-75 in July. We found a castle ruin and it was something out of a fairytale. I so want to go back and explore more. (Justin was a rock star driving on the opposite side).
