Sometimes you just have to give yourself the pep talk like “Hello you badass, amazing human being, don’t be sad, you’re doing fucking great. Keep going.”

On a sidenote, Snapchat filters are wild 😜 by @andreanagey

I’ve outgrown a few versions of myself, survived some spectacular plot twists, and learned that nostalgia is a lovely place to visit but a terrible place to live. Unless it’s 1997. I’d absolutely go back for a weekend. Reliving these moments for a night with one of my day ones, was everything. #IYKYK by @andreanagey

I can vividly hear my grandpa saying “It’s just a car”. He told us all that, and it was something that each of us really embraced and lived by.

And just so everyone doesn’t panic, yes, I’m fine.

I’m annoyed and inconvenienced and frustrated but a car is just a car and in the end I’m safe and this will get fixed.

It could’ve been worse.

Just a reminder that life really does life sometimes, usually when it’s the least convenient for it to do so, but trying to hold tight to my belief that God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers and remembering that it can’t rain forever.

Hug your loved ones today, and say all of the things. This could’ve easily been much worse, and I’m grateful that it wasn’t. by @andreanagey

𝓹𝓪𝓾𝓼𝓮.
for just a second.
a moment.
and be grateful.
even if life isn’t perfect.
but thankful
for the life you get to live.
for the stories.
for the adventure.
and for those
you are blessed to love.

POV: Receiving “the look” from your dad from across the table, undoubtedly because you’ve said something dumb in front of his friend 😂

Happy birthday, Dad - somehow even though you’re getting older, you still keep making it look easy to age.

Wishing you the absolute best this year, you deserve it. I love you. by @andreanagey

Equal parts: sugar and spice.

I do love you though, my little T-Rex 🦖

Another year of missing you, little brother. 🤍

7 years now and one of the most important things I’ve learned is: The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it.

You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered.

You will be whole again but, you will never be the same.

I wish he could have known that the darkest moments of his life would never define the whole of it.

He was so much more than the way we lost him, and today I choose to remember all of him—his life, his laugh, his heart, and the love he left behind.

Mental health matters. Check on your people. Say the things you assume they already know.

And if you’re struggling, please remember: you matter, you are loved, and the world is better with you in it.

Seven years flew by, Brandon, and yet a piece of me still stayed forever stuck in time with you.

I miss you in ways that define logic.

But I will never stop talking about you, and your memory will never be forgotten ❤️‍🩹🪽 by @andreanagey

Dear August,
Surprise me in beautiful ways.
Let new opportunities come my way.

Let me laugh so hard I forget what I was worried about.
Let ordinary afternoons become memories I want to keep forever.

I hope this month is filled with quiet moments that make me think, “Maybe things really are getting better.” by @andreanagey

I’m okay to admit:
I’m not the same person I used to be.

There are things I said that I no longer agree with.

There are things I did that I no longer do.

That doesn’t make me fake.

It means I’ve learned.

It means I’ve grown.
& I’m proud of that.

The goal was never to stay the same.

The goal was always to grow.

As we all should 🤍 by @andreanagey

Even though I will protect my peace at all costs, I still want to be remembered for my 𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼, for showing up, for giving second chances, for acknowledging my own toxic traits & for loving selflessly.

If that ain’t it then i failed horribly.

Remember to extend grace because in the end, we’re all just walking each other home. by @andreanagey
