This photo was taken after feeling much better from feeling down. One of the things I’ve learned in life is to not ignore my emotions. They come back even stronger if you do. So I promised to myself that I will acknowledge every time I feel like something is bugging me or when I am feeling anxious bc is a good sign that I need to stop what I am doing and ask myself how are you feeling? What’s going on? I try to find and name the emotion. Why are you feeling this way? And I try to dissect it more and more so that I can understand it and feel it deeply. Once I know the cause of it is just easier to give to myself what I want and need. I treat my myself like I would treat to a bestie. I feel like I am my best friend too and I love to feel loved by me. I think this is a very beautiful and powerful act of self-love. 🌸 by @andreanunez.33

I really like this quote: “Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach”. This is very true, and is call growth. To not make the same mistakes because thank goodness I know better now and from now on I can move to the next level of my expansion. 💫 Take the lessons. They are your 🔑

1. “Thank goodness I know better now” → that’s self-compassion
2. “I won’t make the same mistakes” → that’s wisdom
