Yikes. I’ve let myself stop creating because I’ve been so scared of what the outcome could be: that it won’t be good.

That, and the fact that I don’t really know who I am as an artist yet. I don’t know exactly what I want to create, or how I want to create it. I’m at the beginning of the journey, and that’s a daunting place to be.

I’ve been trying to let myself start without a plan and just see where it goes. Sometimes I make a mark I hate or immediately regret a decision. But somehow, it always comes together in the end ✨

It’s been a few years and it’s very beautiful to witness some of your own work starts to make more sense to you as you age

Victim of the Clock • 2019

Aging creates an unbeatable chase. Depicting a moment in time in which death is nearing, this piece creates a narrative between a woman obsessed with youth and death itself.

I’m back! I haven’t painted in months and I’m so happy to be starting my art grind again. This is a work in progress piece for my kitchen 🍷
The papers I used in the background are from vintage women’s magazines I thrifted related to cooking!
I’ll be posting more videos and starting to sell my pieces again this year
