The Salomon squad just got faster: Welcome to the team @andrearodenfels!

A 3 x U.S. national champion, with her most recent title coming this past fall at the USATF 5K Championships, Annie isn’t just fast, she’s a winner. Her talent and competitive fire shone in college where she claimed three DIII NCAA titles and became the first woman in DIII to break 10 minutes in the 3000m steeplechase. Since graduating, she’s run PRs of 9:22.66 in the steeplechase and 15:00.64 in the 5000m.

Currently based in Boston, she’ll be making her Salomon debut on familiar roads at tomorrow’s Boston 5K.

Happy pride month, I’m bisexual. It’s something I’ve known for several years but I haven’t really shared super publicly. It’s always seemed a little silly to share, because I know who I am and I’m confident in that but also I’m engaged to a man who I plan on spending my life with so it often felt easier to just not say anything because it seems confusing and attention grabbing. However, it’s an important part of my identity and I know I could have saved younger Annie a little bit of trouble if being bisexual was more normalized so ✌🏽. I guess this is me coming out.

4 pro runners. 4 different sounds of running.

This is a fun trend but it’s also such a good reminder of how unique we all are. Meridia is a team of track, road, and trail runners. We all have a distinct stride and cadence. Some of us are high mileage athletes and some more moderate.
We have a shared love for the sport and for being in community with good people. That (and making silly videos together 🤪) is really what brings us together and hopefully what brings us to YOU!

@usatf 6k National Championships are tomorrow (Saturday) at 8am ET and Annie is returning to the streets of Canton for a race she knows well.

“Being a women’s only race it’s just such good energy and fun. They really bring out the whole community to come cheer for it and partake and it just feels really special.”
