And I’m ready to make more and more music with even more excitement, energy and joy. 🙌🏼

Btw, my album ‘ACCENT — Flute works reimagined’ is, still 🥲, in post production and will be released soon :)
It is a deep and personal reflection on identity, artistry, and belonging, and it features my own original arrangements of works by Poulenc, Schubert, Alexandre Guerra, Chiquinha Gonzaga and Milhaud, for many different instrumentations — my own musical accent.

Featuring the musicianship of Matthieu Cognet, Milad Daniari, Riza Printup, Loïc Cordeone, and the (former) Aizuri Quartet; recorded at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music, and produced by Musica Solis.

I truly hope that anyone that listens to this album can feel inspired and empowered by this music, and the story that motivated it all.

Feeling super grateful that we wrapped up my new recording project a few weeks ago 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

This project has been a long time in the making, and every moment at Carry Hall @thedimennacenter was filled with artistry and musicianship. The phenomenal Aizuri Quartet @aizuriquartet , bassist Milad Daniari @miladdin , pianist Matthieu Cognet @matthieucognet , harpist Riza Printup @rizaprintup , and accordionist Loïc Da Silva @cordeone , each brought their unique brilliance to the table. The sessions were beautifully captured by audio engineer Bill Siegmund @digital.island.studios and guided with heart and insight by producer @sunny_clarinet . Now, we move into post-production — and I can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve created together. I’m forever grateful!

Had the most intense, inspiring and wonderful weeks at the temple of dance aka @jacobspillow , working with fantastic dancers at the Jacob’s Musical Theatre program :)

Had the privilege of working and learning from incredible artists and humans @mayte_n @sfp9589 and @vitopalos

New Release!🎊“Atraente Brasileira” by Guilherme Andreas is a playful and unexpected meeting of two musical worlds that have shaped his journey as a flutist, musician, and artist. In this piece, he blends “Atraente” by pioneering Brazilian composer Francisca Chiquinha Gonzaga (1847–1935) with “Brasileira,” the electrifying third movement of Scaramouche by French composer Darius Milhaud (1892–1974).

Featuring Guilherme Andreas on flute, together with pianist Matthieu Cognet and accordionist Loïc Da Silva, this mashup celebrates rhythm, virtuosity, and the beauty that happens when cultures collide in the best possible way.

É com enorme entusiasmo que anunciamos a mais nova adição ao time da Século 30 para a nossa temporada de 2026: o aclamado flautista brasileiro Guilherme Andreas! 💙

Elogiado pelo maestro Júlio Medaglia como o “Rampal de Brasília” por seu som potente e técnica refinada, Guilherme tornou-se um dos flautistas mais proeminentes de sua geração. Seu talento já foi reconhecido internacionalmente com o primeiro lugar no Grand Prize Virtuoso de 2020, em Paris e Londres, e na divisão profissional do Concert Artists International Virtuoso Competition de 2019, além de seu prestigiado reconhecimento como bolsista da Sphinx Organization.

Com uma trajetória brilhante que começou na Universidade de Brasília e no Conservatório Brasileiro de Música - sob a orientação de grandes nomes como Odette Ernest Dias e David Chew -, Andreas conquistou o mundo. O músico já ocupou o posto de primeiro flautista no lendário Carnegie Hall e colaborou com instituições de renome global, como a Sinfônica de Seattle, o Lincoln Center e a orquestra do Kennedy Center Honors.

Radicado em Nova York, Andreas é hoje o Coordenador do Departamento de Artes Visuais e Performáticas da Garden School. Além de suas funções de liderança e docência, ele atua como artista da Trevor James Alto Flutes e se destaca pela pesquisa e execução de obras de compositores historicamente negligenciados.

Should’ve posted this a few weeks ago, but hey! There’s still time 😁

I Music Directed ‘Once On This Island’ by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty, this past month, and I honestly couldn’t feel happier to have had this opportunity.
OOTI is one of one of my dream musicals of all time… the story is great, the music is awesome, and the score is even better!

And I got to do it at THE Harlem School of the Arts @hsanyc , brilliantly directed by LaTrisa Harper, and I got to be assisted by the great @david.corlew and the incredible percussionist Baba Don. What a privilege! The cast was amazing!

Did we have challenges? MANY! Did we overcome them? OH YES WE DID! I bet that the ancestors were happy too.

Here to making more and more music!
