Another act that completely swept me off my feet at Castle Party was XOTOX. People, let me tell you: that was a fucking show. Easily one of the strongest performances of the festival so far. I had already spent a lot of time with Andreas Davids’ recent material while preparing an interview and review of I AM NOMAD for Sonic Seducer. I knew the tracks, their construction, the aggression and the detail hidden inside all that pressure. But live, this was a different quality altogether. On record, you can study the machinery. Onstage, it comes straight for your body. Andreas performed with his wife, Claudia, and they needed very little around them: two tall illuminated structures carrying the XOTOX imagery, hard light, two figures and the full physical force of the sound. The simplicity made everything hit harder. Nothing distracted from the beats, the tension or the way the set slowly tightened its grip on the audience. The aggression never felt fake or staged. It was already built into the rhythms, the pacing and the precision of the delivery. The set developed brilliantly, gathering pressure piece by piece and then suddenly kicking straight into the face, chest and solar plexus. At that point, the whole tent went wild. That was the real power of the show: the music did not just reach the audience. It changed the audience physically. People moved as one body, reacting instantly to every impact. That kind of connection is worth gold. We also heard two brand-new songs, “The Great Destroyer” and “Du und Ich,” both performed live for the first time. They fitted naturally into the set and gave us a glimpse of where XOTOX may be heading next. I am writing while the impact is still fresh, so no cold distance here. XOTOX were a fucking knockout. Andreas and Claudia, congratulations. What an absolutely phenomenal show. Complete Castle Party report coming soon-ish at Side-Line Magazine. taken in Castle Party Festival by @andreasdavidsofficial

🎟️ @pentagrammusicstore | eclipsegroup.es ________________________ #nocturnafestival2026 #xotox #industrialmusic #halloweenparty #techno taken in Sala Upload Barcelona by @andreasdavidsofficial
