The fun is in the process. That’s what we love and why we all started to draw when we were kids. So nope, I don’t use AI. Every idea, line and shape is created by me with my two hands. From paper to my iPad Pro to walls and objects. by @andreaspreis
When I painted a while back at Villa Viva Hamburg. Probably still one of my favorite murals ever. I think that it works very well within the architecture, the rough surface and the overall theme of Villa Viva in this amazing city. by @andreaspreis
It all starts with a Blank Canvas ✨ This year, we continue our Blank Canvas series with two new artists, each bringing their own creative vision to our neckwear and headwear. “I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t drawing and painting. Nature has always been part of my work.” — @andreaspreis 🎨 Meet Andreas Preis, the artist behind one of our latest BUFF® Blank Canvas collections. There was a time before AI when the only question I’d get was »Wait, so this is really hand-drawn??« Occasionally followed by »I always thought these are vectors!«. These days, lots of people cannot even imagine that artworks like this one are not AI-generated. That there has been a lot of actual work involved, that I can also do this on paper, canvas or even walls. But the bigger question is: How many people do even care anymore? Would you have guessed this was hand-drawn? PS: But at least I can proudly say that my tools won’t destroy humanity in the next few years... by @andreaspreis
Still one of my favorite murals. Created for a local coffee shop in Berlin. by @andreaspreis
Just finished another one of my wooden objects. All pieces are laser-cut, colored with spray paint and glued together by hand. Lots of work, but also lots of fun to create. There’s nothing better than having color on my hands. My next plan would be to really scale this up (with another artwork). So if anybody needs something new for their walls just hit me up! by @andreaspreis
Around 1000 laser-cut and hand-painted pieces, put together by hand with a little help from my kids. Lots of work, but also lots of fun! by @andreaspreis

I painted this mural in Hamburg at Q Creative Quarter back in 2024, when I got invited to add some permanent color to their stairwell. The Quarter was an amazing place to hang out, enjoy art and get some drinks or even tattoos. Too bad it’s gone now… by @andreaspreis
Still one of my favourite things to do is painting skateboards. Got this one at a local flea market for 3€, sanded it down, hand-painted it with acrylics and really tried my best to hang it perfectly on the wall. Almost nailed it. Please ignore my hair. by @andreaspreis
While Berlin was heating up to over 40°C, I was lucky enough to be painting at #urbancanvasparkhauswedding. Over the course of three days, I created this 6 × 4.5 meter tiger mural. The idea was simple: Bringing color and a sense of nature into the raw concrete environment of a parking garage while integrating my work into the existing architecture. Thanks so much to @LiebeZurKunst @emilythestrange202 for the invitation and the opportunity to spend those days in the shade with some amazing artists.
