Enjoy the unedited (but most definitely sped up) video of me trying out my new roller skates. 🛼 🛼 Yes, it took a very long time for me to put them on. by @andreasprojects

I haven’t been tracking my reading digitally lately. I’ve been attempting to live a more analog life in some ways. But I do like a record of what I read because I will forget! So here’s what I read last month. by @andreasprojects

Mom tip - Have breakfast for dinner the night before school starts so that all the leftovers become breakfast for breakfast the next day and it’s one less thing to worry about on the first day of school. by @andreasprojects

The DIY instructions I used as inspo for making this loft said I could do it in a day. It took a whole week. ✌️And technically I still need to add the safety rail, but I’m on hiatus. by @andreasprojects

First @talesandtinkering book club in the books! So much fun reading and creating together. ❤️📖❤️ We read tarot cards and created reading junk journals pulling inspiration from The Atlas Six’s themes of magic and libraries. by @andreasprojects

A little coffee and pink book ASMR to end February. This was a fun little challenge, got me out of my book comfort zone. But I’m happy to be wrapping it up. I have a HUGE stack of non-pink books that I am so excited to be able to read next month! by @andreasprojects

A hill I’ll always die on is letting your kids help. Yes, it will take longer. Yes, it won’t be perfect. Yes, disaster will strike at some point. Yes, you will get annoyed. But it teaches valuable life skills and a since of pride in their work. Do not sneak in and re-do their work later! The imperfections will make you smile more than a *perfect* product ever will. by @andreasprojects

A friend of mine had a bunch of paint by numbers at her birthday party last fall. I picked this breakfast one as an homage to Ron Swanson obviously. But we ended up chatting too much to get much painting done. It’s been sitting on my desk for months. Finally took the time this week to finish it up. It was such a fun process. I’ve been in a state of stress lately with *everything* and haven’t been feeling very creative. And the act of doing something creative without having to use the mental energy to BE creative was just what I needed. Protect that little brain you’re carrying around in your skull. ❤️🧠💀 by @andreasprojects

Today my youngest spent 4 hours at the allergist eating increasing amounts of pistachios waiting to see if he would have a reaction. We’ve spent his whole life vigilantly keeping him away from these nuts and others that we were told were life threatening, anaphylaxis inducing. We’ve spent a decade carrying epinephrine around just in case we missed one and the worst happened. We’ve had relationships ruined due to his allergies not being respected. And today we see a potential end in sight. He passed. No reaction. One more challenge and he’ll be officially allergy free!! by @andreasprojects
