Sho hachiman Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Kitakyushu, Japan. The shrine is built in 9th century to dedicated to the deity of Hachiman-sama, who is Shinto god of war. The shrine was originally named the "Suzuiwa Hachiman Shrine" but was later renamed to its current name. One of the shrine's most distinctive features is the Suzuiwa rock or "bell stone", is a split boulder that is almost exactly identical to the one seen in Demon Slayer. In the popular manga and anime series "Demon Slayer" (Kimetsu no Yaiba), the Suzuiwa rock is featured prominently as the location where the series' protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, undergoes a rigorous training regimen to become a demon slayer under Urokodaki Sakonji. taken in Kokura Kitakyushu Fukuoka by @andreaswlynt

Nagasaki, a beautiful port city on the island of Kyushu, Japan, has a tragic history. On August 9, 1945, the city was devastated by an atomic bomb, known as "Fat Man", which was dropped by the United States. The bomb exploded with a force equivalent to 21 kilotons of TNT, causing widespread destruction and loss of life. The blast radius was approximately 3 kilometers, and the heat from the explosion reached temperatures of up to 8,000°C.

The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum is a museum dedicated to remembering and learning from the history of the Nagasaki atomic bomb. The museum has a wide range of collections, including artifacts, photos, and documents that depict the atomic bomb event and its impact on the victims and the city of Nagasaki. It is estimated that around 39,000 to 80,000 people lost their lives immediately due to the blast, and many more died in the following weeks and months due to injuries and radiation sickness.

It is not just a museum, but also a center for peace education. The museum aims to educate visitors about the importance of peace and avoiding war. Through exhibitions and education programs, the museum hopes to inspire future generations to become agents of peace and avoid repeating the mistakes of history. By remembering and learning from the tragic events of Nagasaki, we can work towards creating a more peaceful and harmonious world.

p.s: If you want to enter the museum, set aside more than 3 hours to enjoy the information in a relaxed manner. The entrance ticket price is relatively cheap, only ¥200 by @andreaswlynt

Kawagoe-shi, Saitama Prefecture, which developed as a castle town during the Edo period, was called as "Little Edo" or Ko-Edo, because it had strong ties to the Tokugawa family. In this city, traces of the Edo period still remain. old warehouses, Buddhist Temples, and castle ruins from the Edo period still exist today. Kawagoe is ideal as a day trip because its location is not far from Tokyo. taken in Kawagoe Saitama Old Town by @andreaswlynt
