This one will forever standout to me. I had a chance to fish because of a rescheduled guide trip this day. It happened to be my father’s 90th Heavenly Birthday. So I decided to celebrate with some fishing, as he would have loved to do this. I had a moment of reminiscing as I sat down on the boat to tie up, emotional from those memories a bit. I hear his voice in my head loud and clear, “ Now wth are you sitting there crying for” He didn’t like to see me like that, ever. This clip is me standing up and making the first cast right after this emotional moment. This one right here is for you Pops! Happy Heavenly B day, sir 🙏 Little story. My clients rescheduled so I had a chance to make a few casts. Decided to celebrate my dad’s b day on the water. After praying and talking with him for a bit with a couple of tears. His voice said “ Now why the hell are you crying for?” Got up and started fishing and came across this one..Thanks for putting this one on my line today Dad. Jeremy booked a trip with his son Holden & buddy Phil to visit San Diego and join me on San Vicente. These were all caught on Topwater. Holden has never caught a bass before today. Ruined him with a Topwater Flashtrix bite! It doesn’t get much better than that!

Jeremy was set on targeting strictly panfish today. So we did what we had to do to show him some of the biggest ones around town! Plus a bunch of bass 😉 Enjoy your dinner Fellaz!

These boys got into a frenzy of boils! First ever Double hook up and on top! Father and Son memories for life! This is what it’s all about!

Phil told me this one felt like a train hit! Absolutely smashed the Flashtrix at the end of a cast, and pulled drag all the way to the boat! That’s one for the net, Phil 🤪

Of course Holden had to catch the biggest of all the slabs caught today. PB bluegill, first bass ever, on top. I believe that’s a solid day. 💪

Phil said “get the net!” I told him to “bounce it, no net needed”“

Double double with Cheese 😁 Stumbled upon another wolf pack and the boys went Bendo simultaneously! I’m sure the entire lake heard us hooting 😂

Ok. So this is absolutely ridiculous to see. The longest of any ramp I’ve walked, and it’s getting longer! It’s horrible what the San Diego Water Authority has done to our reservoirs. This is just a few days away from being the next to close for who knows how long 😒 All we will have left here is tiny Lake Murray. Which has now become what I consider the most pressured lake in California. It’s all bad, and we can only pray and hope these people responsible for this realize the impact it is having. It’s hurting not only us as fishermen, but local businesses as well. Me being one. I’m doing what I can, yall taken in San Diego, California by @andrecaseyfishing

Thankful to have had the chance to take my father fishing not long before he passed away. This is the man responsible for my obsession with fishing. He introduced me at a very young age to the sport, and taught me how to catch my first bluegill to begin around the age of 5. We would spend hours at the lake fishing and I am thankful for him dropping me off at Chollas lake every single weekend as a kid. This all led to where we are today. Fishing. For a living! 😬 35 years later we are making a living catching those same fish he once showed me how to catch. Truly blessed to return the favor before he had passed, showing him the biggest bluegills he had ever seen on our last few trips. He couldn’t believe how big they were. Man, I miss you every single day, I miss your voice, I miss your laugh, I miss calling my Biggest #1 Fan and supporter everyday. I’m sure I’ll see you again one day, to run it back for some more of it Pops. Until then, keep looking down here and witnessing me do everything you taught me and blessing me. Kai joined me to learn a few critical importances to ensuring success on his future outings. We worked hard for the bites and dialed in the necessities for fooling a few🎣 Incredible time hanging with ya dude 🫡

Been dealing with this type of heat lately daily out here. San Diego was hotter than Baghdad two days ago. That nice air controlled office don’t sound too bad..But nah, I’d much rather be on the water fishing no matter what weather comes 💯

38gallon tank on the Tundra is quite the price when gas is $6 plus! Commuting to another district towing definitely adds up pretty rapidly. San Diego lakes being closed is hurting tremendously

If there is one thing I can say I genuinely can’t stand with a passion. Well, aside from mosquitoes. It would have be this. Traffic! Even on a weekend!!

Life definitely has its way of throw curve balls to you. Just a few days ago I was out rigging up getting ready to take A Client out fishing. A strong wind came by, lifted up my carport and slammed it down onto the boat, right next to where I was sitting. Nearly got impaled. Thanks, God.

Dropped off some pretty awesome clients at the dock after a half day of pure catching and laughing. Made a U-turn, put together a solid solo bag, then made it home before the rush hour 🙏 Invitation from my brother to eat as much lobster and crab as possible to end the night. Seriously. Family day on the water for my two niece’s very first fishing trip. Alaysha & Aliyah got pulled from school early to play hooky with Funcle Andre & Funtie Maria to pull on their first ever catches. Finally had a chance to show them what Unc does for a living🎣 This was a very special trip, and one I will remember for the rest of my life! They learned to cast, how to work a plastic, and caught them all on their own‼️Even got them to hold the fish! 😂 Scroll and look at what my sister said they told her after the trip.
