The real history behind the myth… 🦇 3 things you probably didn’t know about Dracula’s Castle:

1️⃣ Bram Stoker never actually visited this place. He created the entire gothic atmosphere of his famous novel based purely on maps and vivid descriptions.

2️⃣ Vlad the Impaler (the real Dracula) never lived here. Historical records show he only passed through the area and was briefly trapped near the fortress, but it was never his residence.

3️⃣ It was a Queen’s favorite home. In the 1920s, the castle became the beloved royal residence of Queen Marie of Romania, who turned this medieval fortress into a beautiful estate.
