A little reflection from our Presidente, Liani 👑

Watching everyone dancing, laughing and just being happy yesterday gave me such an amazing sense of achievement.

London is not an easy city, and realising that I’ve contributed to creating a community where joy, respect, culture and happiness are at the heart of what we do is honestly one of my proudest achievements with Império da Rainha.

For me, this is what a samba school should also be about — bringing people together, creating community and sharing our Brazilian culture. 🇧🇷

Seeing all that joy in the room yesterday made me think: yes… this is exactly what I wanted to create. ❤️

Thank you André Forró @andreforrolondon for such a brilliant workshop and for sharing your energy and culture with us, and thank you Dani Gudgeon @daniellegudgeon, our Diretora de Cultura, for making this connection and bringing André to Império.
