Hannah & Rian, I knew they were my people from our initial call. They radiate good energy, are so creative, wanted their wedding to be anything but cookie cutter and priotitized showing their loved ones a hell of a good time. Speaking of their people, I was so blown away by the toasts that were given over this weekend, these two are not only loved, but so seen by the folks who love them. I’m so honored I was present to document and witness such a sweet display of community.

I just have so much love for these two!

I love the anticipatory, nervous, exciting and chaotic (good) energy of the getting ready portion of a wedding day. Because of course something silly is going to go wrong, like the groom forgetting his shoes and having to pull in some last minute favors. Which will quickly become a funny anecdote that makes the old tradition of “something borrowed” a very real possibility.

Great design doesn’t just look good in photos, it changes how the day feels. It sets the tone. People don’t rush through the night. They linger a little longer, order another glass of wine, connect with one another. Designers and florists create the atmosphere on your wedding day (often times from a blank slate!) that let your guests know they truly are apart of something unique and special.
