For my English speaking friends who have asked about the Goya Awards. So basically I worked on a @universal_spain film called “Samana Sunrise”, and they have selected me for one of the Goya Awards(Best Revelation Actor).

The Goya Awards are Spain’s most prestigious film awards, equivalent to the American Academy Awards (Oscars). Winning a Goya is considered one of the highest honors in Spanish-language cinema.

Currently, I’m pre-nominated, and the members of the academy will vote to select the official nominees. While no Dominican actor has been nominated yet, a nomination for me would be a groundbreaking moment, helping to break that barrier.

PS: The blue cape represents the beautiful beaches of the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴

When my mother was lost, I was six years old, and I still remember other people telling me, “You know your mom is not coming back because she drowned in the ocean” or their favorite one “She was eaten by this big shark.” I would run to my dad and he would tell me “Don’t listen to them. They are lying. Your mami is coming home soon.”

To the girl who sat next to me on that flight…

I don’t know if you realized it, but you gave me something I didn’t think I was capable of feeling that day.

Thank you for talking to me, for making me laugh and for reminding me that it’s okay to smile, even in the middle of so much pain.

I’ll never forget that flight, and I’ll never forget your kindness. 🤍

Had an amazing time at LA Latino International Film Festival @laliff_ watching Milly. Huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this beautiful story to life.

I’m especially proud of my friend @sandyhernandezcross , who leads the film with such a beautiful and powerful performance. Watching someone you care about shine on the big screen is a special feeling.

A special shoutout to @leticiatonosp for continuing to elevate Dominican cinema and bring our stories to audiences around the world. Proud to see Dominican talent represented on such an incredible platform.
