This is one of my favorite pieces which I’ve never been able to capture in film.

Really glad I got the opportunity to be part of >7 curated by @amandakleinhans. No Black, No Fats, No Femmes is a meditation on existing as a fat black body in gay spaces. Often desexualized, harassed and ignored, we have to find the beauty in ourselves. I choose to celebrate my fat, black and femme self. If you’re in Tallahassee I hope you stop by 621 galley •

Is it too early to #throwbackthursday my exhibition? I just have a lot of feelings. “My Gender is Black (second configuration)” flanked by “Anachronist’s Quilt” and “Genotype|Phenotype”

I want to say a huge “THANK YOU” to each of you that came to my exhibition and associated events during its run. The last day to catch this work @artworkstrenton is Saturday, but guess what: WE ON THE ROAD HUNNY. I’ll be packing up the exhibition next week and taking it to the next venue (TBA 😉). Thanks for following me, thanks for supporting me, more to come!

Friday is the Artist Panel with two of my friends @ramalik_illustrations and @photofelli! 6-7 we will be discussing representation, blackness and queerness as they relate to the exhibition and our work! The galley is open 11-8pm, can’t wait to see you!
