It’s OK to have an OK day! . . . . Here are 3 things that the Lord has been putting on my heart, that I truly believe are pillars to this brand and what it stands for: 1. It’s OK to be alone without feeling lonely! Deuteronomy 31: 8 states “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” What a blessing it is to know that our Lord our God will always be with us. Regardless of all the hardships, and all the struggles that you’re dealing with right now, you can reflect on this verse, and truly understand that the Lord is with you all the time! 2. Smiling throughout the day, and reflecting on the good rather than the bad, makes a difference! Rather than just pointing out the negatives that happen in your life, PRAISE the positives! Acknowledging the hardships and struggles that you are enduring, but also understanding and writing down the positives in your day are truly a special way to connect with the Lord. Being able to differentiate those two things can make an impact on how you view how your day and how it has actually been going. 3. Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the lord, with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight” Being able to trust that the Lord has a plan for your future is truly amazing. Although it may be hard and you may not know what the Lord wants for you, truly understanding that he does have a plan for you is super impactful. I don’t know what the future of @didyousmile.today and my other brand @fellowshipfits holds, but I truly believe that the Lord has a plan for it and he’s going to use me through these brands to make an impact on the community. PHOENIX SUNS MARKETPLACE Almost a year ago, I had the opportunity to host a marketplace at the home of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury! Still to this day one of the most surreal events I’ve organized! After months of planning we brought 30 entrepreneurs into the arena for a community marketplace. I’ve always believed that sometimes all someone needs is an opportunity and someone willing to believe in them. For me, marketplaces have never been just about selling products. They’re about giving entrepreneurs a platform to tell their story, make their first sale, meet their next customer, and realize their idea has the potential to become something bigger! That’s what made this one so special, seeing entrepreneurs who started at campus marketplaces walk into a professional sports arena with their businesses was a reminder of why I started organizing marketplaces. I’m incredibly grateful to the Phoenix Suns, all the Idea Club leaders who helped bring this vision to life, and especially to every entrepreneur who trusted the vision enough to show up and be apart of it! One of the biggest things I’ve learned from building marketplaces over the years is that you never know how far someone can go when you give them a platform to start. 30 entrepreneurs. One arena.
