Life lately ✌️

Like many others, I took a break from racing in 2026 (and a break from social media in general). I was finding racing to be more of a source of stress/anxiety, rather than something I was stoked on, and I wasn’t doing it for the right reasons. I got burnt out and felt like I just wanted to take a minute and just enjoy riding with zero pressure. Life is also massively more broad than just racing for me these days 😅

With the state of the industry, the world cups, and the loss of several regional/national race series, there doesn’t feel like there’s anything to reach for on the horizon that’s worth putting life and limb at risk so often. And if I’m doing it for myself, I damn well am doing what I find most enjoyment in! I’m still stoked on bikes and riding plenty, just for different reasons. Definitely not ruling out a return in 2027 but we’ll just see what happens.

New Offering has some tasteful refinements - more travel, longer chain stays, steeper seat angle, down tube storage… the folks at Evil listened to what riders want and hit it out of the park. taken in Evil Bikes by @andrewcavaye

Black Collars rider @andrewcavaye, recently built up his 2026 Offering ahead of the upcoming season and damn does it look goooood.

For the finer details, Andrew's Offering is adorned with @ridefoxbike and @raceface components and powered by a @srammtb Eagle 90 Transmission drivetrain. For rubber, you'll find a set of @schwalbe_mtb's Radial tires - a Magic Mary up front and a Big Betty out the back. Lastly, eagle eyed viewers will take note of Andrew's moto-setup @srammtb Maven Silver brakes.

Built on the same platform as our Wreckoning LS, the Epocalypse is a beast, up and down the trails. 168mm of rear travel, combined with Shimano's EP8-01 system, make an extremely capable platform to blast out downhill reps, explore new terrain, or maybe a bit of both.

Meet your 2025 Race Cascadia Series Champion @andrewcavaye.

Andrew locked down the win this year with 2x 🥇, 1x 🥈, and 1x 🥉 place as his points races this year, after skipping round one to get some extra dust training down under. Clearly it paid off.

It’s never shocking to see Andrew on the podium at a CDC, this is his 3x series overall, and this year while the competition was extra stiff, it didn’t slow him down a lick.

Congrats on ☝🏼.
