Got to spend some MUCH needed brother-sister time with @andrewflynn727 yesterday 🥰🥰.

The deepening of our connection from mere blood relatives into genuine friendship has been one of the unexpected gifts from the most challenging season of my life.

It’s definitely a thing of beauty springing up from the ashes of heartbreak ❤️‍🩹. It’s also nice to have a built in “plus one” until God sends me another one and to not have to open doors 😅.

God knew exactly what my heart needed in this season.

And yes, if you see me growing even more fashionable at 40, he is a MAJOR influence there. Not just because he tells me what to wear, but he’s helping me to stop caring what people think and put on what feels good to me 😎💅🏾.

And when I feel uncertain, he lends me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and strut my stuff, knowing he’ll be there to cheer me on 💖.
