🥳35 years around the sun is crazy!! I’m blessed and grateful for all that I have, all that I am, and all that God is building me to be. The level of discipline, spiritual wisdom, and emotional intelligence I have these days is unmatched. I’m really beginning to embrace this stage of my life and seeing all that greatness that’s forming. Thank you God, and thank you to all of you that have played a part in these 35 years. I’m grateful for every experience I’ve had with you all!

All Love,

Drew 🏆

I never thought Director reels were essential, but looking back on some of the things I’ve created really gave me a morale boost. It shows me how much I’ve grown over the years, and this is maybe 1% of the work I’ve done 😂. I’m proud of this gift and the drive to remain steadfast in it. God knew just what to give me! As I transition into the next phase of this journey, I know I’m capable of creating anything, but I don’t have to shoot everything. A camera has taken me places I never knew I’d see, and I can’t wait for the next destination! I hope to see you all along the way, doing exactly what you love! Stay blessed everyone….oh and go book @phrameproductions for your next creative project 💪🏾.

If your camera operator isn’t in the gym, are you really getting what you paid for? 🤷🏾‍♂️ lol Idk, sounded right to me. Grind time….locked in…. #shooter #thefitfilmmaker

I get through long shoot days by keeping my body conditioned to the work! Regardless of work field, your body is your most valuable asset. Take care of it! You only get one.

I’m humbled and grateful to have had the unexpected opportunity to meet and speak to @kamalaharris during my time working the @naturbanleague conference. She was a very warm and inviting spirit. I realize that this moment is much bigger than me. I have some people both living and passed on, that are proud to see this moment. I’ve captured a lot of people with these cameras, but this one felt different.

@tr_shoots thank you for trusting me to get the job done through the obstacles, and putting me in a position for it to happen. This moment wouldn’t have been possible without that.

📸 x @arturoholmesphotos - we definitely didn’t see this one coming bro 💪🏾.

I had an amazing experience attending the @podcastsummit ‘26. Here’s a few of my favorite frames I captured while I was there! It didn’t matter who/what you were there for, there was a message for everyone! You didn’t have to have a podcast to apply some of the gems to your business. #podcastsummit2026 #podcastsummit26

Just a little birthday post to let yall know God woke me up today and I’m grateful lol 🏆. I rarely take any birthday worthy photos, so here’s a random video of me testing a visual before an interview we captured. I love yall! Cheers to another year of blessings ✌🏾4.17 #UncleDrew by @andrewjsims

🗣️ChatGPT, make me a cool instagram caption about being a camera operator.

ChatGPT: “Behind the lens, creating magic ✨ #CameraOperatorLife” ……….😒that was weak.

“I’m sittin’ on the dock of the bay, watching the tiiide roll away🗣”

Man who knew so much greatness was happening down in Macon, GA!!? Congratulations to the @otisreddingfoundation for continuing to pave the way for creativity to thrive!

I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with my @thisiscodec fam to capture content for an epic weekend highlighting new beginnings for the foundation. Thank you @tr_shoots and @hb.codec for continuing to believe in my skill….and shout out to @afaulkfilms for directing our crew (and for letting me play with the @sonycine toys lol)

No catchy phrases today….this BTS photo just has some vibe to it 😎. Just me, an FX3 and surely a non-alcoholic👀 drink on the clock, that I refuse to spill.
