Well, I broke my Femur ☠️ On a jump I’ve ridden a dozen times

Here’s how it happened 👇

I took a pedal into the Creek Gap at @oztrailsbikepark but my chain wasn’t on my chainring. So I tried to stop before the jump but it was too late. I flew off the bike and slammed my femur straight into the rocks. I knew exactly what my injury was on impact.

I want to thank @oztrailsbikepark Bike Patrol for getting me off the mountain and into an ambulance that took me to @mercyhospitalnwa right away. As soon as they saw the X-Ray, they took me into surgery and fixed me up! And now I’m walking around on crutches less than 24 hours later.

I’ve been having so much fun on my bike lately that I can’t even be mad about this one. This is part of the sport and it didn’t even hurt that bad. I would be a lot more bummed if I injured myself on a 360 or a flip. This is just a bump in the road and I’m ready to relax and reset!

First backflip on a BMX for me @bentonvillebikefest 👊 Punched my face on the first try and then stomped a couple more. Stoked I didn’t over rotate since I’m used to flipping my bigger bikes 🙏

Flat Drop 360 on Day 1 at @bentonvillebikefest !!

I’ve 360’d plenty of stair sets on my BMX over the years but I’ve never sent a 360 off a drop on my MTB! Definitely need to look through it more, but I’m stoked it came around 🫡

No Spacific Destination 🌊 My video filmed in Pacific City, OR is live on YouTube!!

Life has been a side quest lately and this project is no exception. Took a quick trip to the Oregon coast to check out the newest trails built by @brosandhoeslandscaping & @tortamtb ! Most insane dirt I’ve ever ridden!

Colorado dirt tastes great 😭

The second video was actually my first hit on this line. Second hit I grabbed too much brake on the run-in and had to find some way off the bike. Definitely slammed my head pretty good but I ate it up and got right back on my bike 🫡

Being in good shape and knowing how to bail goes a long way, do your pushups!
