Vertical Drop. Horizontal tug.

Thanks for the tips @travisboerner

Lauren and I grabbed a camera and made our first course vlog at Pine Hollow to see if it’s any fun. Turns out it is!

For her 85th birthday, we surprised Nana with a book called “Dear Sally.” It was a compilation of messages from over 100 family members, friends, organizations and charities from her life sharing their love, stories, and appreciation for her. It was a secret kept by over 100 people for basically half a year, so we had to get it on camera.

We knew this gift would mean a lot to her, but had no clue what it would mean for all of us, too. Being able to read stories about her and Poj (my late grandpa) through the words of complete strangers to us grandkids was just so special. No surprise here, but turns out we aren’t the only ones who’ve created great memories with Nana!

Thank you to everyone involved in sending in messages, you gave all of us such a special moment!

It never hurts to tell those you love just how much you love them.

Last week, @andrewparkersd planned the most magical trip filled with surprise after surprise after surprise… 💍

From taking me to a place I’ve always wanted to go, to a setting that felt straight out of a movie, to proposing by recreating one of my most special memories and somehow making it even more meaningful and dear to my heart, I’ve been so overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude 🥰

Life is short, and I believe you should collect as many rare things as possible. Rare places. Rare moments. And most importantly, rare people.

So lucky that I get to keep having fun, doing life, and making memories with my best friend. 🤍💍 taken in Montage Palmetto Bluff by @andrewparkersd

Nothing wrong with a pre-wedding-planning honeymoon.

We had an unbelievable time at @montagepalmettobluff watching bald eagles from breakfast, dolphins fishing at the dock, stingrays flip floppin around, Notebook-level downpours, playing early morning tee times, and getting engaged!

To my best friend. I couldn’t be happier to spend life with you. It was always worth the wait ❤️

Also, someone please invite @rexorangecounty to our wedding so we can properly thank him for our theme song ever since it came out 👀 taken in Montage Palmetto Bluff by @andrewparkersd

I spent most of 27 thinking I was 28, so this birthday doesn’t change much… taken in Half Moon Jamaica by @andrewparkersd

Summer is meant for chasing an ace on the hole you grew up on, never “agreeing to disagree” on the most athletic US major market sport (absolutely not baseball), bottomless transfusions to beat the heat, hedging your golf bets with poker at night just to lose both, and taking an additional week off for recovery. Great course, better people, best times. taken in Pine Hollow Golf Course by @andrewparkersd
