Can't think of a better birthday blessing than to teach the @redrocksaustin Jesus & Jiujitsu group today at @10patx - picking up the theme from last week of Closed Guard, we worked 10p warmup path E3, covering both breaking the guard, and entering into the closed guard from dogfight, as well as homie control to the back and truck. A great path demonstrating several fundamental concepts as well as highlighting the intricacies of the 10th Planet system.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our @10patx Open House and @guerrillagrocers farmers market!

If you missed out on any of the fun, you can always stop in and train and catch our @guerrillagrocers store on the way out 🏬

Keep your eyes out for the next one! 👀

Another month, another @atomiclegion Riddle of Steel with @therangeaustin shooting dojo crew. Always a blessing to do this fun, casual match with a great group of men and women. It's similar to the stuff we work in the dojo but outdoors on a larger scale, and it's nice to see the results of our training. Placed 12th out of 49 shooters this time around. taken in Hog Heaven Sporting Club by @andrewpberrien

Jesus and Jiujitsu group today worked on various knee cut techniques going everywhere: truck, rubber guard, mounted triangles. And of course... the gallow's pole 😎 IYKYK

Always an honor and a blessing to teach the @redrocksaustin Jesus and Jiujitsu class at @10patx - sharing the 10th Planet system with a group from very diverse martial arts backgrounds. We worked path D4 - from a standing pass, through the truck, ending with a Swedish Twister. by @andrewpberrien

My crash from tonight's race. Heat 1 with 2 laps to go. I was in P3 at the time and crashed with P4 as he went for a pass. by @andrewpberrien

It's such a blessing to spend one morning a month at the @atomiclegion Riddle of Steel, the entire squad packed with friends from @therangeaustin shooting dojo. Today I put zero pressure on myself, just had a good time and let my training do its work. I think overall it was my best result so far. 14th out of 52 taken in Hog Heaven Sporting Club by @andrewpberrien

With a solid rear axle, a kart chassis needs to flex and lift the rear inside tire to break traction and rotate through the corner. This shot from my last TKL race captures the effect nicely. by @andrewpberrien

Blessed to celebrate America's birthday with @therangeaustin Dojo crew at my first USPSA match. I got smoked, but had a great time and learned a lot. taken in Austin Rifle Club by @andrewpberrien
