🇰🇷 DMV foodie posting my fitness journey and the meals that are fueling me 💪🏼😋

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The first slide is when I first joined my current gym, I was coming off of a terrible break up, familial losses, severely depressed to the point my therapist wanted me admitted, in constant physical pain from the neuropathy caused by my disk herniation.

I remember feeling so hopeless and isolated, wracking up debt because I couldn’t work consistently while fighting through a horribly predatory post-Covid healthcare/insurance system. All I could think about back then was ending it all….

I’m really glad I didn’t. Things still aren’t perfect but I’m so grateful that I continue to have an opportunity to prove myself worthy of my own self-love.

To anyone out there struggling with their mental health and toxic environment please do not give up.

I can’t promise it will happen overnight or quickly but I promise one day we’re all going to make it ❤️ 💪🏼 taken in Chiseled Life Gym by @andrewpyon

This meal was actually from last week, hit up @spicekitchengrill last day of the @rhousebaltimore pop-up. Ordered the steak and lamb combo w/ jollof rice, spinach and their stew sauce. One of the most satisfying and tasty meals I’ve had in quite some time 😋 be sure to check them out if you’re in the area by @andrewpyon

Sometimes family is all we got. Also peep the crutch in front of me, proof I’ve unfortunately been fighting through a rare hip issue my entire life. by @andrewpyon
