“Changing the world happens one step at a time, through acts of leadership and courage. It is the work of generations, with progress made possible by those who pass on the lessons learned from both successes and setbacks, and most importantly the necessary knowledge that change is indeed possible.” -Ambassador Andrew Young

#Repost @kerihilson 'I know why I have been given a platform, a voice, influence & resources. It was always clear. And I've always used thm publicly and privately. Sure I could always given more. It's as much of the legacy I want to leave as creating great music is. But I was overwhelmed with the amount of causes my heart feels compassion for. I needed to organize those tugs at my heart. So God placed Angels along my path to help me do so. This night in particular quietly represents the start of the legacy I want to leave'
