Music curator, radio host and cultural strategist Tatyana @andrianova takes us on a journey through the Russian tapes underground, from cult 1990s cassettes to the contemporary artists keeping the format alive today.

From rare DIY releases and forgotten gems to field recordings, experimental electronics and underground mixtapes, Tanya’s collection offers a unique window into decades of independent music culture. My 10 seasons at Strelka are like the whole life. The stats are impressive: more than 1 000 events with more than 1 000 000 visitors. What’s even more impressive is the fact how many exceptional people I met during these years: artists, colleagues, partners, collaborators and guests — it’s just impossible to tag all of you, but I want you to know that you’re simply the best. Thank you for this breathtaking experience.

Now it’s time for the next great things.

If you’re reading this and you’re in Moscow, come to Strelka this Friday, it’s gonna be my final party there w/ the magic line up of all the besties.

PS. Looking at these photos from the post kind of can’t believe it all happened, and how I came up with all this and did it together with the greatest teams and the greatest professionals from all over the world. Thank you again for taking part in changing this city’s cultural landscape.
