Would you ever invite strangers to your house?? I think people are desperate for connection. You don’t have to host an elaborate dinner party or have a theme, just an invitation and an open door will do 🤗

I found some fallen branches and added them to my pots of mums for a grand entrance!! Inspired by my friend’s secret garden entrance she made a few years ago 🤎@secretgardenskeys

I’m not even kidding when I say you will be trying to think up more ways to use this sauce!! It is devoured every time I make it 🤤

Ingredients:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2-3 zested garlic cloves
Squeeze of lemon
Sprinkle of salt

Mix it up and enjoy!!

An early autumn recap and a goodbye to a sweet September 🤎🍁

The beautiful setting sun can now peek through our trees since the leaves have began falling 🍂

I loooove a good bowl of buttered and salted popcorn!! I can’t wait until we can have family movie nights ☺️

This moment just made me really happy 💛

Cheers to year 27!! 💗

Late night inspirations and creations 🤎

I started hosting a monthly ladies Tea and it was so refreshing to meet complete strangers and have the best time!! 🍰

Floral season is coming to a close but I’m ready for a break ☺️

I made a little “porch pumpkins” for the squirrels!! 🐿️ 🎃 by @andriatheus

“Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.””
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I was tempted to post something much less personal with these photos… but I felt the need to share this instead. There has been an article going around about how people who like to host are just doing it to be performative… and i wholeheartedly disagree from a personal standpoint. I decorate my home and host people because I enjoy it! And I love to create a beautiful atmosphere for when people come over, because I want to share that beauty with them. I didn’t spend hundreds of dollars on pumpkins to decorate my porch. I have this many pumpkins because of the absolute blessing of God!! I’m not a farmer, my soil wasn’t perfect, I barely did anything to the patch at all other than water it… from the outside it looked like just a crazy dream. What I’m trying to say is my life can look lavish I think at times, but it’s not my own doing. I don’t have that much power or time to try to make it that way. I’m simply enjoying the blessings that God has given me, and I enjoy sharing them with all of you! Thank you for reading 💛 by @andriatheus

This also has me thinking about what I’m going to make for Christmas gifts this year… herb butter?? Basil salt?? Pesto?? What else can I do with dried or fresh herbs??

My favorite part of it all is not spending a dime and just using things found in nature or from supplies I have on hand! ☺️🍁🤎 My sweet neighbors (next to me and across the street) have been so kind to let me snip some of their hydrangeas and WOW they’re gorgeous!!
