Andros might not be the most famous Cycladic island, but that’s exactly what makes it so special 💙!

Just a two-hour ferry ride from Rafina (near Athens), it offers a unique blend of mountain landscapes, fertile valleys, charming villages, and stunning beaches. It’s with good reason that it is called the greenest of all Cycladic islands.

We were there for only a couple of days and absolutely fell in love with it 💙! And we can’t wait to go back, to explore the hiking trails, and more hidden gems!

📍Παραλία Βλυχάδα | 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝘀, 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲 🇬🇷 ~
💙 Located on the north western side of Andros, about 40 km from Chora and 10 km from Gavrio, Vlychada is considered among the most beautiful beaches 🏖️ of the island. With soft sand on the shore and crystal blue water, Vlychada stands out for its natural beauty and the abrupt landscape. Due to its remote location and the track road 🛻 that leads there, Vlychada is visited by very few tourists who are seeking for calmness anf privacy. ✨🩵

Thanks to the closeness to the mainland the second largest island of the Cyclades is very popular amongst the Greeks and especially the Athenians. 🏛️🏺
