African American Day Parade ‘26
Harlem, NY

As a girl from the south, I grew up going to parades like this. So, I’m happy I got to capture a little piece of home and my heritage. Shout out to @africanamericandayparade for 57 years of celebrating African Americans in Harlem ! ✊🏾

I performed in my first Sabar show. I’ve always been a little intimidated by Sabar as a dance style so I’m lowkey so proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone! Happy 10 year anniversary to the CTM dance conference! ❤️🇸🇳🫶🏾 taken in Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater by @andthebee

Miu Miu Women Tales Episode 30 directed by Alice Diop

These few seconds are a tiny piece of the hours we spent filming. Being surrounded by so many creative and unique black women gave me so much pride. For a couple hours I truly felt like I belonged and that I was exactly where I was supposed to be 🤎
