Y’all… not gonna lie… I had no idea this class was gonna be like that. Big Aqua with @metmygoals had us in that pool at Digital Harbor High School on Monday giving brow, giving energy, giving “you’re safe here.” His vibe is hilarious hype, and so supportive.

It’s a space where women of all ages show up, move our bodies, and feel good doing it. Men are welcome too, but let’s be real… the ladies run the show right now.

Slipped into @themirrordc after Girlfriendsgiving —ask for Grady, but don’t wear your favorite shirt (you’ll see why 👀).

Hey boo you did know that Speakeasies were hidden bars during Prohibition (1920–1933), when alcohol was illegally banned in the U.S. That’s 105 years ago—imagine not being able to sip a cocktail or clink glasses in public for 13 years to our accomplishments. Tragic.

Baltimore and DC been cousins and this time the cousins linked up over kicks. Slid into @newbalance and @footlocker and absorbed the 2010 Absorb sneakers like they were calling my name.

The nostalgia hit, the colorways snapped, and the fall vibe is already activated.

The only thing I’m still sad about is another summer went by and I still don’t know that Tamia Dance!

Honestly though, not all sadness doesn’t sit still sobbing…

It looks like dancing, swaying, singing the old songs that raised me.

Live music helps me slip out of the worry for a moment and remember joy is still here, still reachable, still mine.
Concerts allow me to be comforted amongst a crowd of strangers.

My Grandma Dell always said I knew those songs better than my lesson (homework) and maybe she was right 🤭
They’ve carried me through more than I ever told her.

If I ever stop moving, that’s when you check on me.
And well… if you’re carrying something heavy, I hope this month reminds you to find whatever helps you breathe again.

Could you live without your cousins?.

My cutie patootie cousins keeps life loud because if daddy didn’t have siblings with kids my whole childhood would’ve been weak af😂

We played hookie to go down, Round Falls skipping rocks like we had no duties but to be cuties lol.

The way a rock glides across the water feels like us moving through life together. A few bumps a few bounces but always side by side.

Round Falls has been tucked in Baltimore since the 1800s and still feels like a hidden little oasis.

And well … Jas Booba and my sister Kira been around since the 1900s 🤭

We turned it into our own playground for the day. Life hits different when your cousins are your built-in joy.

The first spot in a while where the aesthetic matches the menu: just funky with a spin on breakfast

They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so you already know—be at the door come Wednesday like it’s brunch o’clock.
