POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some people are part of your story. Others have their fingerprints on so many stories that you couldn't imagine the city without them.

If you've ever had the chance to meet Andy, you already know what kind of person he is.

From Asian Night Fest to opening Mathematics, a streetwear shop downtown before downtown became what it is today, Andy has always been somebody willing to take a chance on something he believed in.

And he's been showing up for people ever since.

Behind the camera, behind the scenes, or simply being there when somebody needs support. Andy has been a part of so many people's journeys, including mine.

He's an incredible photographer, a connector, and somebody who's helped shape Wichita's Asian community, Wichita fashion, and creative communities in ways that don't always get recognized.

And that's why this Soundcheck means a little more to me.

I've been fortunate enough to have Andy supporting The Steps since the early days. But I'm just one of countless people whose stories have crossed paths with his.

Nominee: @panyaamp, President of the Asian Association

I'm looking forward to hearing your story, too, and showing some love at Asian Fest (Oct. 17) at Century II.

Sometimes the people who spend the most time supporting everybody else deserve a moment where the attention is on them.

Andy, I couldn't imagine Wichita without you, man. I'm proud to call you my friend, but even more proud to call you my brother.

This one's about giving you your flowers.

Thank you for everything.

Every Step Tells a Story.
