What a couple days can do for the kingdom of God. Watching students from all over Minnesota come together, worship the King, and grow in the Word can do. Running into people that I haven't seen a while to seeing the words the Lord has given being lived out and confirmed in others. To the healing of an ankle, to lives surrendered to the Cross. Jesus is worthy of it all. Here some takeaways: Obedience doesn't have a plan B. Comfort can never satisfy what only calling can fulfill. God plan is greater then what you can imagine but it will cost you! by @andy.neis

What happens when a generation becomes hungry for the presence of God?

When we stop coming just to attend a service and start coming with expectation?

When worship becomes more than a song.
When prayer becomes more than words.
When devotion becomes our lifestyle.
When we don’t just want to hear about God’s presence—we long to be in it.

We’re gathering because we’re hungry.

Hungry for Jesus.
Hungry for His presence.
Hungry for the Holy Spirit.
Hungry to see God move in our schools, our friendships, our families, and our city.

Another school year, another first day picture, another reason to be thankful for all that I have. Seeing the growth in my kids year after year is letting me know that each moment matters. Each discussion around the countertop changes. It went from talking superhero's with William to discussing engineer questions on how things work. For Eleanor it's still the same for now of the random things she asks about. But one thing stays the same and that is Who Jesus is to them. Their Savior, their friend. May that never change. by @andy.neis

Are you in the word and in prayer everyday? Is it steering your life or is it something you do when you pop a tire and you need help? We live in a time when so many things fight for that steering wheel of our life. Social status, social media, what others think of us and other things fight for that control of the wheel. We wonder why when life feels out of control? It's because we give earthly things the steering wheel when Jesus has been speaking say give me the wheel, all the time. Will we live a life fully surrendered to Jesus? Let go and let Jesus steer, don't make him be the spare tire by @andy.neis

Camp '26. What a week! From Rec to Service to small group time in the cabin. I witnessed a man get filled with the Holy Spirit and preach to his cabin mates. I watched sin bow to Jesus. I saw a man get his knee completely healed no more brace, no more crutches. Pre service prayer was teenagers pursuing the face of Jesus. Countless teenagers being radically encountered by words from Jesus. Thankful to be used as a vessel for the Lord. All to him I owe! All Honor, All Glory, All Praise to King Jesus

From the family of Johnny De Luna. This Friday, July 17th, John would have celebrated his 30th birthday.
In the months since we lost John to mental illness, we've heard so many stories that remind us of the incredible person he was. Time and time again, people have shared how John would give his skateboard to a kid who didn't have one or whose board was falling apart. Skateboarding was his passion, and sharing it with others came naturally to him.

To honor John's memory, we're continuing that kindness by buying a skateboard and giving it to someone who needs one on his birthday every year just as John would have done at the skatepark.

We'll also be unveiling a memorial bench that was so generously donated by a compassionate woman in John's honor. Her gift has given us a beautiful place to sit, remember, and celebrate the life John lived.

We invite everyone who knew and loved John to join us as we celebrate his 30th birthday, share stories, and keep his spirit of kindness alive at the Willmar Skatepark this Friday July 17th at 6:00 p.m.

Happy 30th Birthday, John. We love you, we miss you every single day, and we will carry your legacy forward. 🛹❤️ by @andy.neis

I felt that someone needed to hear this, not for my sake, but this is for someone who is going through a storm. Five years ago, my life was in complete wreckage.

The big picture is me Freshly divorced, I was learning a new normal as a single father to two incredible kids. It felt like my whole world had collapsed. The days passed by, but the nights felt endless. There was so much pain, so many questions, and so much to process.

But even when I couldn’t see it…

Jesus was holding me.

I didn’t realize it at first, but He reminded me of His promise: He will never leave us or forsake us. I held onto that truth, and it carried me through the darkest season of my life.

Healing wasn’t instant. It was a journey. Jesus wasn’t interested in putting a bandage over my wounds—He wanted to heal them. He tore down idols, replaced them with His presence, and taught me to trust Him when doubt and lies came crashing in.

In the middle of my brokenness, He whispered to my heart:

“Son, I love you.”

Maybe that’s what someone needs to hear today.

If you’re walking through the darkest season of your life, don’t let go of Jesus. Hold tightly to the cross. Don’t put your hope in what this world offers—it only gives temporary satisfaction. Only Jesus can truly satisfy the deepest places of your soul.

Today, five years later, in the smaller picture, I can say this with confidence:

God is faithful.

He gave me renewed purpose.
He gave me renewed vision.
He strengthened me as a father.
And He never let go of me and never will

If He carried me through my storm, He can carry you through yours.
Jesus has been running after you since the very beginning.
Don’t give up. There is hope for your story. He’s not finished with your story yet. by @andy.neis

Family camp 2026 what a great weekend spending time with God and our small group friends who are like family. Clothes may be wrecked, but memories were made. So thankful for this small group. Being a father is my greatest privilege to these amazing kids. If I could teach them one thing that they listen to is that they seek Jesus with all that they are

Also happy Father's Day to my dad Tony Neis he's not man of many words but he is one of my biggest fans and roots me on in life. It's something I am thankful for and will pass on to my own kids. Thank you!
