Life has been so freaking hectic that I only just learned that a 2020 production of mine "Mandem No More" received some rotation on @bbcradio1, played by @bam_bii 💥. She was so kind to play it on @triple_j as well. I saw this late last year, and I'm only now getting around to share about it. 🙏🏽

It's very cool knowing that stuff I created in my home studio in Trinidad (3 years ago), is still receiving love to this day. Big love to everyone playing my tunes around the world . I took a hiatus from music production, I will be getting back in studio for 2024. I have so many willd ideas I recorded (just me humming shit to myself for future use 💀) to bring to life.

Big ups @wileoutmusic and @lunysounds for giving this sound a platform as well.

Let's make 2024 a meaningful one yea x

Ps. If anyone has the recording from this BBC Radio 1 residency - do send the link 😬 - also " Mandem No More" is available In Link in bio if you dig it🌶

Blessings

Tomorrow is the release day for @andy_himself
long-awaited project called “Jungle” feat @chalmerjohn , which was created during a period where he felt the need to expand beyond his foundations in house music.

While still deeply rooted in the genre, the track reflects his wider influences—blending UK bass, garage, and UK funky with the rich cultural essence of Trinidad and Tobago.

Inspired by the lush tropical rainforests where both Andy Himself and Chalmer John grew up, “Jungle” stands as an anthem for the underdog—a powerful reminder not to underestimate inner strength. Chalmer John delivers commanding vocals that feel like a war cry, perfectly riding a 132 BPM instrumental that fuses global rave and dance music influences.

On April 17th 2026, I hosted an event for the students of my recent DJ course cycle. They performed their final DJ set in front of a live audience! It was such a special event that I felt like a proud dad watching his kids graduate 🥹🤣. Yep, they also received certificates. I had to make it official, ya get me!? Lol. But on a real, this was an extremely fulfilling experience 🙏🏽.

Big love to @sean.f.gonzales + @rachelrenie for allowing me to have this event at their space @dmarketmovers 💜 and also a huge congratulations to RK @rhea.rhe + Zø @zo.beats for completing the Andy Himself DJ Course! 👏🏽💪🏾

If you're interested in enrolling for the next in person cycle (🇹🇹) of my DJ course, I'll be running it again in July / August (TBC). Please feel free to DM to discuss!

Love x
