the genesis of this music was formed in transit, in the back of a tour van gazing out the window, on a train wizzing thru european countryside, on a plane zooming over the atlantic, in a shack on the side of a mountain outside of asheville, in warehouse studio spaces across philadelphia, & many late nights in my old west philly apartment. finishing touches in my first months living in nyc.

this music reflects that same constantly shifting landscape as objects & sounds glide by, scenic views & genres warp past into the distance with the excitement in tow. there is a beautiful anxiety that i feel when life is in flux (ie moving, traveling, big changes) like there is no choice but to go along for the ride & let intuition be the guide. i tried to reflect that feeling in this music, and allowed the songs to take me where they wanted to go.

i am deeply thankful to be releasing this album with Orange Milk & to have Keith Rankin’s otherworldly artwork accompanying my sounds.

Wednesday - “Reality TV Argument Bleeds (Andy Loebs Remix)” out today on the deluxe edition of their album ‘Bleeds’ @wednesday_gurl

crazy psyched to share my remix of the great North Carolina band Wednesday. i gave their song “Reality TV Argument Bleeds” the true Loebsian treatment lol. it was a blast to transform this song & i’ve always thought Karly’s voice would work well over electronic music.

being included in this release is extra special to me, i’ve been a fan/friend of the band since day 1. its been incredible to witness their career growing each year in a way that feels totally genuine & consistent with who they have always been as people. from sharing basement/ garage/ backyard shows with no stages to seeing them play madison square garden this summer. i am so proud of Karly, Alan, Xandy, Ethan, & Jake and all they continue to do. love ya’ll so much 💞 you make me proud to be from North Carolina!

its also very significant for me to be included here with @aaaveytttare & @fire_toolz , 2 artists who have deeply informed my own work.

&& of course extra special shouts out to my bestie Spyder 🎸

sharing some sweet sights & sounds from the Sham tour of the southeast US last week! Shane’s music is pure creativity that pours out of him in such a beautiful way, i feel so lucky to be a part of this project whenever our stars align. he & Charlie are incredible musicians and even more incredible humans. their amazing new album comes out later this month, and there is a lot more in the works from this project 🌟

it was very special to share these shows with Croz Boyce (slides 7 & 8) - Geologist & Avey Tare of Animal Collective accompanied by Adam McDaniel of the amazing Drop of Sun Studios. these people have each made a huge impact on modern underground music & yet they are humble, kind, and continue to search deep within to express themselves in new innovative ways 💞 taken in Music Planet by @andy_loebs

Madeleine’s Puppet Show

Asheville-based artist Madeleine brings us a wholesome expression of life’s wondrousness and the creatures woven within it all through puppetry, featuring a live-score by local musicians.

Shane Justice McCord is a musician from Asheville, NC exploring elements of sound collage, songwriting, and experimentation.

“Headset Selections” began on my laptop in the back seat of the @at.songs tour van in 2024, & came to life with live piano & 12 string acoustic guitar at @shamtunes ‘s shack in Asheville a few weeks later. later adding voice memos from between moments at various rehearsals & samples from everyday life. the final form was discovered at home in Philadelphia in 2025 & then mixed during my first month living in NYC. this song is very special to me & i feel it’s a good introduction to the sonic world of
Glide By 🌠
