Part 4

We had some good meals here Sunset Grille was delish. We tried as much local, recommended & fish dishes as possible. The servers were always so friendly. Florence made friends with a realtor and a property developer who were sat next to us. So I got to eat with both hands on this occasion.

Florence loved the alligator park mesmerised for a few hours it was a negotiation activity so Nicky could go the malls : )

Florence had her first go on a swing & ate mini fresh donuts watching people playing boules & paddle 🥹

Family Road Trip 🇺🇸

Part 3

From New Orleans we split the drive to #saintaugustine via Pensacola which was 600 miles in total.

St Augustine was on our must do list from researching & speaking to Americans on the way. It’s known as the ancient or old city. We fell in love with this place. Cobbled streets, century old buildings & very chilled vibe. We decided to stay for 5 nights instead of 4, our accommodation was an Inn at harbour 2 miles from the old quarter so this made it perfect for our daily steps. Super friendly chatty locals & holiday makers the pace was perfect after the first part of the trip.

The morning views & sounds were magic. There was lots to do here; the oldest wax museum, alligator park, live music, eating, drinking, wineries, churches, lighthouse, ruins, ghost tours… we did a few as we were on Florence Time.

Family Road Trip 🇺🇸

Part 2

The first few days were the hardest for us all. Florence got a runny nose on the morning of the flight. She had a temperature on the first night in Miami so we had to consider other options to make sure she was safe & well. We did the smallest journey the following day to #sarasota. After a few days we all adjusted to our new surroundings. New Orleans was a vibe. We were all on a high walking around taking in all the sights, sounds & beautiful people.

Our days were based on Florence time. Starting at 6am and ending around 8-9pm back at the hotel. We were walking around 20,000 steps a day with regular movement breaks and times out of the stroller : ) and in the baby sling. She loved that the most. We let her crawl independently at the park in the French quarter, she crawled to two girls practicing dance routines whilst a mum filmed them. She didn’t look back once. The girls sat down to be with her and she crawled into the girls arms. Everyone in the park watched in awe of her fearlessness. It was defo a moment in time to remember 🫶🏽🥰

Family Road Trip 🇺🇸

Still on a high from the most incredible road trip. We had a few stipulations of what & where we wanted to go. Our itinerary changed a couple of times before we left and once more due to changing weather conditions before we flew to #miami.

We drove over 1800 miles from #miami to #sarasota then #panamacitybeachflorida🌴 then onto #neworleans, Pensacola, St Augustine and back to Miami.

We stopped a night in each destination before staying for 3 nights in New Orleans. It was a test of the will’s & patience for us all including Florence at 11 months travelling upto 9hrs a day.

It was truly incredible to see so many beautiful places & talk to different people along the way. Everyone we met was super friendly & loved Florence, she stole the show & it was mesmerising to see her interact with so many people. taken in New Orleans, Louisiana by @andy_pandy___

Thursday 5th Dec 6-8pm

This workshop will last around 2 hours are relaxed and fun, making it the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. All materials for your beautiful wreath will be provided. Just bring a pair of secateurs and, if you prefer, your own gloves.
The price includes all the materials to make your wreath which you will be able to take home with you. Jordan will be there to guide you through making your wreath with step-by-step instructions and hands-on support throughout the class.

A festive buffet will also be provided throughout the workshop with hot drinks & refreshments. £65 pp
