Hi, I’m Andy Baquero Ruiz and this is Meet your Coach @andybaquerosoccer

A Cuban professional footballer and futsal standout with international experience and a passion for developing players of all ages. Born in Havana in 1994, my playing career has spanned across elite-level competition in Cuba, international tournaments, also leading to success in Canadian futsal and soccer leagues.

Career Highlights & Achievements

International Football (Cuba):
• Represented Cuba national football team from 2013 to 2019, earning more than 50 caps and scoring goals in international competition.
• Played in the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, and the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
• Competed at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games and multiple CONCACAF Gold Cup tournaments.
• Member of the Cuba national futsal team (2016–2019) and played in the FIFA Futsal World Cup.

Club Football (Cuba & Abroad):
• Played for top Cuban clubs including La Habana, Villa Clara, and Pinar del Río.
• Professional stint with Delfines del Este FC in the Dominican Republic.
• Competed in the Canadian Premier League with Valour FC (2021–2023).
• Currently active in L1 Ontario

Club Futsal Success (Canada):
• 🏆 Canada Futsal Championship Winner with 9 de Octubre FC.
• ⭐ MVP – Canada Futsal Championship (top performer at the national level 2024
