TSP PYR - San Sebastián.

Last 150 km.

We decide to push through the night.

We time it perfectly to reach the top of the last climb at sunrise, before descending towards San Sebastián.

Our expedition comes to an end. 700 km and 38,000 m of climbing through the Pyrenees, as one team.

So many moments, images and memories that we’ll keep for ourselves, and that will remain with us forever.

No podium. No finish line. But we found what we were looking for.

Thank you, Pyrenees.

We made it. More than 700 km through the Pyrenees with @templerunninggirona, from Collioure to San Sebastián.

While waiting for our finish photos, I want to save this personal achievement here: 185 km in 4 days with 4,500 m of elevation gain. 20 runs in a row.

TSP PYR - Day 3.

Another early start.

A few legs on the road before sunrise, after getting back into the mountains.

The sky opens for a while and lets us see the sun for the first time.

After another technical climb, we arrive in the heart of the Pyrenees, Gavarnie. It welcomes us with more rain.

Still a few kilometres to go through the mountains before heading back onto the road for the night.

San Sebastián doesn’t seem that far now.

TSP PYR - Day 2.

3:00am start on four hours of sleep.

A technical trail section through the night to leave Andorra. Fog, no visibility and slippery rocks on the descent.

With sunrise, the weather finally opened up. For a few hours. Then another storm came in at the top of the big climb of the day.

The weather has not been gentle, and the Pyrenees are showing their wild side.

We listen and we respect. So we reroute onto the road for the night.

The scenic views will have to wait until tomorrow.

Halfway point in sight.

TSP PYR - Day 1.

4:00am start from Collioure.

We settled into a rhythm early and worked our way through the flatter sections, with shorter legs.

The first hours were about finding our pace and getting used to the rhythm.

After CP1, 127 km in, we entered the mountains. They welcomed us with thunder and storms.

As the day went by, the rain settled and we entered the dark again. From here on, the terrain starts to get more familiar, and this is where we know we can find our strength.

Day one done.

It's hard to find your people in a new place. You don't know the language well, you have little energy left for adapting, and it's easier to stay home. A long time ago I realised that sport is one of the best ways to feel at home. Whenever someone moves to a new city or country, I always give the same advice: find a local sports club that feels right for you. I followed that advice myself, and in Girona that place became @templerunninggirona.

Temple Running is a running store, and officially that's exactly what it is. But for me it quickly became much more than that. The Wednesday and Saturday runs are not just training sessions. They're a chance to meet new people and catch up with people you already know.

I think the secret of Temple isn't running. Aleix and Rajiv have spent years bringing good people together. And good people usually bring other good people. Nobody cares about your pace or how well you speak the language. People support you, make you feel welcome, and invite you back next time.

Temple is also a place where you get to meet not only local runners, but also the brands and the people behind them. For me, it has been a chance to feel back in my element. An orienteering event with adidas TERREX, an uphill race with Norda, meeting people from the Safi and Polymer cycling communities. It's a chance to finally say hello in real life to people I've followed online for years.

Thank you, @aleixferrerr and @rajiv.marroig , for Temple Running. For creating a place that helps people not only run, but also feel at home in a new city. And a special thanks for the relay from Girona to Zegama — a crazy adventure that gave me new friends. by @andybary
