Great weekend with @miltoncrosscountry for our annual overnight trip to @wendys Classic XC meet in @charlottenc where we did @miltonclass2027 speeches & raced well with many PR’s & seasons bests! Girls won the closest @drinkcheerwine challenge so far, 567-573 over the boys but we had enough to go around thanks to our amazing cooler from @weststride keeping them cold for 2 days! Proud of this team & the great coaches @coach.tama.mhs @coachkeith713 @catcatlars Coach Salazar & Coach Albregts I get to work with! Last weekend @miltoncrosscountry captured their 5th consecutive Eagle 🦅 Cup at the @miltonhseagles Invitational. BIG THX from the support of @weststride @nikerunning for our extra awards, custom pennant flagging, Nike fence banners & of course you being there with the glam station & West Stride Van of cool swag! As we add PR & Team wins onto the cooler we know the journey continues to the state meet in November & our next stop is @wendys Classic meet in @charlottenc on the famous McAlpine course on Oct 3rd where our next @drinkcheerwine challenge will be! Our cooler will be filled with iced-down cans for the winning squad! Will it be the girls (have won it the last 3 times!) or the boys who will need a big race to dethrone them! Stay tuned!! So proud of this @miltoncrosscountry team & their incredible resilience this past weekend to come up big when it mattered to win our 5th consecutive Eagle 🦅 Cup! The boys teams were predicted not to score in any of their 3 races towards the Eagle Cup & they ended up winning the open, 2nd in varsity & 3rd in JV!! Girls continued to show their dominance with an overwhelming win in varsity, a 2nd in JV & solid 3rd in open! The 13th @miltoncrosscountry Invitational dealt with a schedule delay, rain/lightning/mud but the meet was a success thanks to the many @miltonhseagles parent volunteers, amazing booster club @norny915 & my Mary’s organization. Mary Williams has been coordinating volunteers for this meet since its inception 20yrs ago (and the @fultoncoschools championship meet as well for 7yrs) and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks also to the great @miltonhseagles coaching staff @coach.tama.mhs @catcatlars & SuperGirl Coach Salazar & of course @coachkeith713 & Coach Albregts (in his last season with us), such a honor & pleasure to work with! Big thanks to @weststride & @nikerunning for some very special meet enhancements & @atlantatrackclub for the logistical support. BIG THANKS to @atlantayouthrunningfoundation for their grant for our trail as we get no support from the school system. Thank you as well to @matthewchestnut & his @alphacrush team & parents for your help & support of our meet & glad your youth meet went well. So proud of @miltoncrosscountry girls team with their big meet win at the Bob Blastow Invitational & the team debuted our @weststride team cooler as the girls beat the boys team in the @drinkcheerwine challenge & won chilled cans after today’s hot 🥵 long run!! The next challenge will be at our 13th home invitational on September 12th when 24 schools come to race @miltonhseagles & @nikerunning with @weststride will be there with some great giveaways & swag! taken in Milton High School by @andycarr6453

Great start to my 23rd season coaching @miltoncrosscountry with the teams racing & placing well @lca_lions Invitational! Just missed a sweep of the team races by 4pts in both VB & JVG. Within the last week, 3 @miltonhseagles school relay records were broken including both girls & boys Distance Medley Relays at the @roswell_rotary Relays & at yesterday’s @fcs_athleticdept @fultoncoschools Championship meet, the boys broke the 4x400m record while nabbing 2nd place to finish off a great meet for @miltontrackandfield & @miltondistancetrackandfield as both girls & boys teams finished 3rd 🥉 overall out of 15 county high schools, our best team finishes in 6 years! @coach.tama.mhs @esteslon35 @coachnaldo County titles by @will_chambers4 @everettlawder_running #GabbyMichel & girls 4x800m relay @avakanee5 @aarushi._.dhawan @sadiek_soccer @sadie_katekovich & @sloane.robers_running taken in Milton High School by @andycarr6453

What a last 3 weeks for me & my good friend @emmagracehurley After the big course vehicle error at the Atlanta Publix US Half Marathon Championship it was great to see EGH bounce back, keep working hard & get rewarded with an AMERICAN 🇺🇸 RECORD in the 8km (24:29) @chidistanceseries #shamrockshuffle2026 & then a few days later was informed that @worldathletics would grant the US 7 spots in the World Championships Half Marathon in @cphhalf & EGH will get to represent the USA in October.
March 1st-toughest officiating call I have ever had to make.
