“But oh, it’s heaven nowadays”
With immense gratitude and love, we’ve officially closed the 2025-26 North American Tour of CHICAGO The Musical.

Deepest thanks to @robertbillig, @gkbut, @davidshyslop, @cameronblakekinnear for handing me the keys, and to all the beautiful souls I’ve had the pleasure of working with these past 3 years. Onstage for 350 performances exactly, and witness to over 250 more.

Special thanks to @chase1133 and @erik_wakar for being the best Associate and Assistant Conductors an MD could ask for.

Congratulations to this spectacular cast, band, and crew, all of whom I hold near and dear to my heart. As someone recently said to me, Chicago is forever.

Feeling especially honored to be conducting the North American Tour of CHICAGO The Musical in the city of Chicago during AAPI Heritage Month, and to be the first Asian American music director of this tour, with its almost 30 years of history. Embracing the fact that I look so much like my parents today, even if I can’t take a picture to save my life. Grateful beyond words for so much.

Feeling immense gratitude to the people and audiences of Minneapolis this past week. It’s been an honor to bring this show to the Orpheum.

Wishing every human being in this city healing, dignity, safety, and warmth to come.

When I took my first summer stock gig back in 2019, I was as green as can be, and I had a completely different vision for my life.

Five years later, I'm the associate conductor of a Broadway national tour, lucky enough to close out the last two shows of a three week run at the historic Hollywood Pantages Theatre.

My heart is so deeply full, and I'm so incredibly grateful to @cameronblakekinnear and @robertbillig for having me on this amazing show, and to all the people in my life who've pushed me to find out what I'm really capable of.

I'm thankful for so much of the last five years, and I can't wait to see what the next five bring!
