Getting to share the song we wrote for last year’s Chosen Women’s Conference just minutes before this year’s conference began was such a special moment.

We’re so grateful for @jennasurratt and the women of @seacoastsisterhood—for their love for God, their passion for His people, and the way they continue to lead and serve. We’re honored to link arms with them in ministry

Last year, Andy Cherry had the privilege of writing “Let There Be Light” for the Chosen Women’s Conference theme. One year later, he got to share it in person with many of the women who helped inspire the song in the first place.

Such a special full-circle moment—and a reminder of how a song can grow from one moment into something so much bigger

What starts as an ember of an idea can spark a fire of momentum with eternal ramifications.

“Let There Be Light” began as a conference theme and has since given voice to many, and brought healing for some. We’re grateful to be contributors to the creative processes that God uses for His glory.

Let There Be Light.

For the lost, the lonely, the searching, the sure — He's still saying it.

Let There Be Light is out today!!

Inspired by the radical deliverance my wife @michelleconleycherry experienced @chosenwomensconference two years ago. (more on this later)

Written with some of my great friends and favorite collaborators @thejessieearly & @brettyounker. Produced by my brother @aaronrobertsonmusic.

Honored to get to carry this song that means so much to me with @seacoastmusicofficial. None of it would be possible without the leadership and belief of my bro @garrettabe.

Our lives have been forever changed by the ministry of @seacoastchurch and specifically our Women’s Ministry. Thank you @jennasurratt for your heart and leadership and for trusting me to help pen songs for the women of our church. It’s an honor I don’t take lightly.

Go stream Let There Be Light wherever you get music. by @andycherry

"Let there, let there be light
Just like it was in the beginning
Let there, let there be light
Just as You said it, we are singing
See the shadow start to run
From the One who overcomes
Let there, let there be light"
