Better later than never! I wanted to share some pictures of One sun after another exhibition as part of @sonicacts biennial during October of this year.

It was a great pleasure to be part of this wonderful exhibition with so many talented artists, curated by @margaritaoooo and programmed by @michela_trovato_giancardillo . They carefully created a space that explored the implications of the climate crisis through different times, scales, and places. 🌎🔋⚡️

In the exhibition at @w139amsterdam I was able to present my video installation De allá pa Acá (2021) which follows the speculative journey of one microbe, traveling from a Chilean mine in the Atacama desert to its new residence in the lithium battery powering your laptop.

Thank you to @giulinicolai for helping me set up the pools and to everyone involved in the process of making it come to life ✨

Andrea Galano Toro is a Chilean artist and graphic designer based in Barcelona. Her practice is rooted in storytelling as a way of imagining and rehearsing alternative ways of inhabiting the world through installations, audiovisual performances, and publications.

Her work explores ecological narratives centered on processes of decay and multispecies relationships. Through material research, shifts in scale, and worldbuilding, she constructs worlds where the speculative and the tangible converge, opening new ways of thinking about the relationships between living beings, environments, and shared futures. by @andygalano

Pronto más cosas. taken in La Escocesa by @andygalano
