We've been having a lot of fun working on the infamous quarried route in Arco called Underground.

Figuring out the beta together was extremely helpful, because it took us less time to find many different ways to do the moves. The hardest part was almost to choose and pick which way is actually the best and most efficient.. Especially when you come from the bottom, you're exhausted 🙈

Had a great few days with the La Sportiva family in Arco!

Super inspiring to be in the same place with so many incredible athletes and get to share thoughts and experiences with them.

It was very action packed with many different workshops and activities. One of which was making GNOCCHI together! It was actually quite simple to make, so I might make some again at home 😁

Launch Control 8b+, Pöllökallio, Finland.

Had a nice day out in the woods with @ennibertling a while back. Took me a while to figure out the dyno sequence to the crux, but once I knew what to do I did it first go from the start! Felt so satisfying! 🤩

Slightly different beta to what @pamuhammer did on the FA, but still a cool dyno and a rare new hard route to Southern Finland!

Syncro-Suutari 8c+/9a 🗡️

A while back, after I got back from Arco, I wanted to revisit this cool route situated in Nummi, Finland.

An iconic crag that features the hardest lines in Finland.

Went there with @aleksandrablinnikka and we both sent our projects that day! She did Kaksoset 7a+ and I sent this one 🤩

Excellent day!

Rude 8B/+ , Val Daone 🇮🇹

Now that it’s getting pretty warm everywhere, it’s nice to reminisce on the time when it still wasn’t!

Had a great time in Val Daone with @emil_abrahamsson_ @cordiclimbs and @aleksandrablinnikka

Cleaning the boulders from all the snow without proper tools 😅 just with whatever we could find in the car, and then coming back a few days later to actually trying the boulder when it got dry!

Double send day with two completely different beta 🤯

Guayota 8c 🌱

My absolute favourite route in Tenerife! 🤩
Incredible line with cool moves and comfy holds! Can’t ask for much more 🙌

Definitely one of the more aesthetic and fun route I’ve done in a while.

Time has been flying lately!

I realised that I hadn’t actually posted about my send of Biologico, which I climbed already a month ago 🙃 I’ll try and post slightly more frequently!

I’ve been working on multiple routes around Arco and also squeezed in a 2 week trip to Tenerife to take a little break from all the hard routes here 🫠 I’ve been getting destroyed… 😆

Still lots to learn and lots of routes I’m super excited to get on!

Working on Biologico 9a 🦎

I thought I’d share a little bit of the process of working on a route.

This part of the process is something that I enjoy a lot! Figuring out the beta, different body positions, how to grab the holds, brushing everything nice and clean, putting some tickmarks, more brushing, trying what beta works and what doesn’t, which of these dozens of footholds to use etc. 😁

All this takes a lot of time and effort.. I usually feel a lot more tired after working on a route, than after I’ve given it a try from the ground. On redpoint attempts you usually climb a lot faster and consequently spend less time on the wall.

On this clip you can see me working on the first crux of the route. Hanging a lot on the draws and brushing all the holds multiple times. I’m quite meticulous about it because I like to have my holds with as much friction as possible 😄
