-Bright Arrows

-Someday when dust of time
Obliterates my name,
And not a verse or rhyme
Achieves enduring fame—
A poet in a dream
Will look back through the years,
And catch the hidden gleam
Of laughter, work, and tears,
Of which I sing and write
In poem, hymn and prayer....
Like flaming arrows bright
Flashing through the air.-

'One's life, from being an exterior thing, grows inwards. Its intensity stays the same; and, d'you know, it's most mysterious, the corners in which the joy of living can sometimes hide away.'
