Back to back European CHAMPIONS.

This team is special. There's a fire, a passion, a determination, a bond. A goal.

I wasn't around with GB much this season and for a long time was worried I'd not be around at all, so getting over to Paris started as a bit of a relief, turned into the usual amazing grind and finished in the best possible way.

Looking through my viewfinder, I took a few of these pictures through a teary eye.

I really do get the best seat in the house.

My turn to post this one.

It's always a pleasure to work with our national teams but obviously this one was different. The World Championships.

THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!!

I planned on posting so much during the tournament but ended up being not only incredibly busy but also, with the help of @thewaywehncit_flag_football , able to just leave the socials alone for a while and enjoy the moment, taking in the best flag football the world has to offer.

As the only media person on the ground for Team GB, it can feel a little awkward. I'm not really helping, I'm not coaching, I'm not taping ankles. I'm just sort of... there, hanging around, taking pictures. Someone that no one really needs or asks for. But this lot never make it weird. And always put on a show. I feel super lucky to get a front row seat.

I've got so much to go through which I can't wait to share and will try my very best to get it out as quickly as I can, but before I sadly go back to the day job I just have to say THANK YOU to everyone in Team GB.

You're all champions to me.

IFAF European Flag Football CHAMPIONS.

4 days.
14 games captured.
24 unbelievable athletes + staff across 2 teams.
70+ graphics posted.
12800 photographs.

1 beautiful trophy.

I basically spoke this gig into existence. I made my intentions known about serving the flag community in Great Britain and celebrating the achievements of these athletes, coaches and staff. I wanted to shine a light on what was happening and I wanted to take the whole community along with me. I volunteered. I did it for my love of the sport. I did because this tournament and these teams have worked too hard and for too long for this tournament to go by silently. I did it because this was a moment in history, the beginning of the biggest journey our national program and even this sport has ever seen.

Thanks so much to both teams for letting me tag along and take a ridiculous amount of pictures of your unbelievable performances. I hope you all recognise what you've done for this sport and can at least look back at these pictures with pride. Your dedication is inspiring and you're all so just so damn good at football!

Thank you to the gang over at The Way We HNC It. We recognised what the people wanted, we had an idea, set out a plan and shared a staggering amount of content. We were on to something and the numbers prove that.

And thank you to all of you! The tagging, sharing, commenting and messages of support have been amazing. By far the most responsive and most engaged with project I've ever worked on across any medium, professional or otherwise. It made it all worth it and I think it proved a big point.

This GB Flag Champions thing, we should do it again some time.

So is this my last post from the Euros? HA! Not even close.

I'm off to buy myself some crocs, only to take them off. #iykyk

Last week, this, the kind of work you see on this page, almost became my full-time job.

After an interview and then a callback visit to their facility, I was one of 2 people being considered for a role with a sports organisation you've definitely heard of.

I didn't get the job. And I'm alright about it.

If you didn't know, I have a day job creating digital content, but this sports stuff doesn't pay any bills. Not even close. Not even close to being not even close.

But this process, while "unsuccessful" in the end, has given me a lot to think about. I was sh*tting myself before the interview. Was it imposter syndrome? Did I secretly feel unqualified? I don't know. I did know that if things worked out, my life would dramatically change and I'd have to move to a new city. But I needn't have worried. Getting to the last 2 people in this kind of role, in this kind of climate, is something I'm genuinely very proud of. It's proven that I'm right to chip away at this side hustle and that I might actually be alright at it.

It's given me a bit of a boost! I want to upgrade some gear, shoot more video, shoot more BTS content. My focus is now fully on the World Championships (I just need that accreditation confirmed.)

I've never had a "dream job," the one thing I'm always working towards, and never have a good answer to "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" But I just know that with a camera in my hands, watching sport through my viewfinder, that must be pretty close. by @andykeithphoto

Colour grading is a stage in the process where you can add a bit more of your own style and taste to an image. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be.

40-node tree. Piles of adjustment layers and power windows. Or just chuck on a LUT and call it a day.
