Hey @sealeytools I bought this Premier AK5612, 1/2" bit set, from one of your authorised dealers within the last year. Over that time I've bent and snapped a few of them, which is expected in their line of work, but overall it's been a pretty good purchase. Until recently where it's been a bit of a pain. What's taken me aback a bit and has now resulted in a fair waste of my time, is the discovery that your TX45, 47 & 50, are all the same size (spline to spline). I found this out, partially stripping a rusted suspension mounting bolt, (Thank you for that BTW) πŸ‘πŸ» Another brandsTX50 bit worked fine despite the damage done by the "TX50" in your set. This led me to pulling out the calipers and yep. Not the size it's suppose to be. Checked the bits either side and.... Well the next pictures show it all Upon my discovery, I went to the dealers, asked them to uphold the Gurantee regarding the miss-sized TX bits, as well as replacing the other damaged items (expecting to buy). Intial response from customer care was a laugh of bewilderment and a new set of TX bits being sent out immediately, (including replacements for other breakages, gratis, as an AOG) so all in all, a happy experience. This was until the new bits arrived and we whipped out the calipers again. πŸ‘‰ This is part of the free delivery your team sent out to me, much olbigied for the other bits, all was in order πŸ‘πŸ» Well except one thing All 3 are the same size, TX45, 47 & 50. 8mm +/-0.1mm which no matter how you slice it. It's wrong. When myself and the dealer carried out the measurement of the new TXs. He got back on the phone to customer service to report the issue. He was greeted with a wall of indifference this time and told to try sending an email. I left him to it and got a call back from the dealer about a week later. The answer was, nothing can be done about it πŸ˜‚πŸ€¦πŸΌ Cheers easy see you later. So here I am, ranting on social media to hopefully get your attention 😚 Now since this is your Premier brand of tooling. Surely your tools should, at the very least, the correct size they're marked as? I'd expect and have experienced this lower tier quality of tools from a cheap ass c by @andymac780

My track day at @cadwellpark_msv with @javelintrackdays . A short story in picture form. 1. The wee beastie coming over the mountain (2001 fiesta with a 2.3 on itbs, cost me about 15-20k and about 15 years of evenings) 2. First lap chasing the blue car. 3. Second lap, still chasing blue car having to fight through traffic. 4. Final lap chasing blue car before either he pitted or my fg bonnet tried to leave the car, again 😬 The blue car is a Β£120,000 porsche Cayman GT4 RS.... Just a 497bhp purpose built track weapon 😎 The fiesta cost me Β£350 when I bought it πŸ˜… #builtnotbought by @andymac780

Finally managed to take my fiesta out on track today after a very, very long "winter" project changing the dashboard/making new harness/then having to refit old harness around new dash because pdm didn't arrive in time πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌ anyways, I was able to give her the big big sends today. And fuck me, she actually works and... fuck me sideways, she's pretty bloody quick too 😎 Nothing went wrong on her, temps reminded within limits and I was under the noise limit for Cadwell, so went I out and gave her some good ol shtick, (or as well as I could given the temperatures today) and I was eating other cars up! Bit of tuition and messing about with suspension bound and tyre pressures enabled me to really push on her today and I was lapping a lot of proper track cars out there 😬 Highly recommend doing a duratec conversion on one of these vs the usual puma lumps. I don't highly recommend taking 15 years messing about with it before you go and enjoy it properly! 😭..... But honestly it has been worth it. It's been a very gratifying day for me today. I've spent so bloody long on this car and to finally be able to use it fully on track, reliably and with proven success against other very good, well driven, "bench mark" cars. Namely Caterham's of various flavours. But aside form the joy it's brought me. It's the joy it's brought other people too. All those who came and spoke to me about it were very happy to see one in use and sounding so good (roller barrel itbs and a side exit exhaust 😁) gave me a very humbling affirmation. Stuff and things still be happening, I just never get around to posting anything πŸ˜… @powertune_digital v5 7" display now mounted replacing the old dash2 that was in there before. (need to replace the screen first though as I cracked it while modifying the original dial surround) Mk3 fiesta dash all trimmed up and ready to go into the wee beastie. Fan and heater controls, which are not the original items but a kit from @carbuildersolutions that almost perfectly fits the original fiesta control panel. Still have to plumb the heater matrix in once I've finalised it's mounting location. But once the heater matrix shenanigans are done, I can finalise my harness diagram on @app.harness.design (online harness design tool which is really easy to use) and then I can build it all up and get this thing back on the road πŸ’ͺ🏻 #builtnotbought #zsoc #fiestamk5owners by @andymac780

After many many nights of arsing about in the garage in amongst having a life. I feel that I can safely say the fiesta is good enough to use at will... Finally!! Been a long road and I've ended up having to redo a lot of the work I did to this car along the way. Mainly due to not really having a clue when I began it 🀦🏼 But the result so far is just what I hoped for. I can not just go around giving this full send everywhere as it scares me 🀣 but I'm pretty confident that once I'm comfortable with the chassis and finish up the next batch of... "tweeks" She's going to be a monster on track πŸ’ͺ🏻 by @andymac780

4/4 all making 250psi within 5 of each other... No wonder she struggles to start when warm πŸ˜… Just completed an 800 mile trip to Scotland and back with a detour via the hartside pass. Met some lovely locals who did a train with me on the north side of the pass to the 69. Car behaved beautiful and didn't skip a beat.
