I’m officially a pilot! I couldn’t have done it without my amazing instructors. My DPE welcomed me to the skies this past weekend.

Found this video of me taking off from Kahului Airport in Maui. Cleared for takeoff from Runway 2, felt great sharing the runway with the airliners in my little Cessna.

Thank you for all the love ❤️‍🔥 Here For You is OUT NOW and we couldn’t be more excited to share this record with you.

Recorded on tape (isn’t that so cool?) at @staggstreetstudio , full takes, all in one room so you can sense that live performance feeling rushing through you as you listen. This song was written as a rebuilding anthem for LA after last year’s fires, but this track is for anyone needing someone in their corner while going through challenging times. We are here for you!

Give this track a listen and you’ll get a good dose of energy to keep you going ⚡️Streaming on all platforms.

OUT NOW ⚡️Here For You is finally out in the world. This song took its time finding its way here, but I truly believe it arrived in perfect timing.

I wrote this song last January, moved by the sense of community that emerged across LA in response to the fires. In a city where you can sometimes feel lost in the crowd, I witnessed something beautiful — people showing up for each other with support, love, and care as we navigated such challenging times.

And artists do what they do. We take pain and transform it into art, hoping that something healing can come from it. A group of us LA artists were planning to release a collection of tracks on vinyl dedicated to our beautiful city. This recording was made for that record. To capture the spirit of community, we recorded the track live, all in one room, on tape.

Thank you @trentslatton for guiding us and producing this record, and to the incredible @andyonearth @dawson_lamas_bass and @jake.luh.bron for lending your talent. I love playing with you and I’m so grateful to have you on this track.

Thank you as well to my friend @jeromerenard.io for putting the finishing touches on the mix and master.

And finally, thank you @staggstreetstudio for hosting us and making us feel at home. I’m inspired and humbled to record in a space that has welcomed so many great artists over the years.

Here For You is out now. I hope it’s a song you turn to whenever you’re facing difficult times. I hope its grit and rawness move you, help you release what you’re carrying, and fuel you with courage and faith.

Here for you always,
Rux

OUT MARCH 13 ⚡️ Los Angeles, I wrote this song thinking of you.

Thank you to our friends at @staggstreetstudio for having me @jake.luh.bron @dawson_lamas_bass and @andyonearth to record this song on tape last spring. We had sooo much fun playing all in one room!! Felt like we were on the stage, and our goal was to capture that feeling in the recording. Listen to it and let us know if that came through!! Here For You is out on March 13th 🎉
