It's been 2 years since my last post. I'm sure you must have noticed? Here's a photo of me, shot by the amazing @goodtimesphoto_ from the other day. Ok bye, see you in 2026 I guess✌🏻 by @andyoneilmusic

Every now and then I have a moment where I realise how privileged and lucky I am to make, play, write and record music with friends (who also often happen to be wildly talented).
Today was one of those days.
Thanks to the amazing @kira.gunn_harp and @rickwebstermusic for bringing their skills and laughs today 🤍 by @andyoneilmusic

10 weeks with beautiful little Finn. He started life as "Finnian the Skinny-an", but has been feeding like a champ and quickly morphing into "Finnian the Double Chinnian" 🤣

We're loving our new life with our little bundle of joy 🤍

📸Huge thanks to our amazingly talented friend @madlovenation for capturing these moments the other day📸 by @andyoneilmusic

Introducing to the world:

Finnian (Finn) Harper O'Neil

...who has already given us our first surprise by arriving 3 weeks early! (Guess he takes after his mama, not his papa in that regard).

On Saturday night we played Siboney's last planned gig, and right on cue he decided he wanted to come out just as we finished unloading the car (and crawled into bed) at 2:30am.

Unfortunately he did a somersault right before Sib went into labour, and ended up in breech position, so we went into an emergency C section.

Born 9:50am on 17/04/2022.

Baby and mama doing amazingly, everyone happy and healthy!

Props to superwoman @siboneyjade , who went from being on a 13 hour gig, to giving birth, and still hasn't slept since Fri night.. and somehow still looks like a supermodel.

Also big thanks to all the crew at King Edward's, who have just been AMAZING.

We are exhausted, but our hearts are absolutely overflowing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🤍🤍🤍

Ps. Yes, I do have regret at not shaving off this ridiculous moustache before all the photos with our firstborn child 🤣 by @andyoneilmusic

Oh hey. Follicles got longer. Prob gonna hack it all off soon. This is my favourite jacket - it has mega fringing that is sadly not represented in this shot. Umm. What else? I’ve been making weird glitchy computer generated music lately, playing with probability and chance. That’s been fun. I saw a movie recently called Black Bear and my mind melted a little. Been writing a lot of songs in a lot of styles, and don’t know whether to record/release them or just leave them in my living room and my voice notes app. My studio setup at home is getting more complete, slowly slowly, which makes me happy. I had a throwback dream last night about a kid from primary school that I didn’t really know well, woke up and realised I’d forgot to take my socks off.
Until next time. A x

Welcome addition to the looping rig! Little Alesis sample pad for the sounds I can’t make with mouth noises through my beatbox mic 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 by @andyoneilmusic

Back on the dirt I grew up on. Playing a gig tomorrow in a new venue that is a stones throw from where my dads (now demolished) music room sat, where I played my first notes. Smile kid. 📸 @siboneyoneil
